It's not so much that I want these "removed" per se, or that I look down on people who use these, it's more that I do not agree with the design philosophy and their overall impact on the metagame

3. Reegar is truly the only weapon I'd remove entirely. don't got two, there are other OP weapons ofc but removing them entirely would be drastic. The reegar is and will always be stupidshit

Note that I would also remove cobras entirely so Armored Compartments would be a casualty as well as the phrase "turians whipping out their cobras" which would be unfortunate, but hey

y no fury? better yet - what powers should be swapped on the fury so that you would not want to remove them from game?

I just don't like the concept/design of a walking biotic primer and a quick detonator in a co-op game. Sure, fury is not the only character with go-rambo type playstyle spamming throw but it's one of the more extreme cases IMO.

1. Salarian Engineer and Infiltrator (let the tears flow. They would not be on the front lines anyway)

3. Avenger and Claymore (they've had their time in the spotlight, time to move on)
4. Geth Scanner and Medigel Transmitter (trivializes the game)

Also, I would remove reload canceling. Play the game like it was meant to be played. Immersion destroyed every time I accidentally do this.

In my ME3MP career, I don't think I've seen the Medigel Transmitter being used more than like 3 times. I haven't used it once. Since it takes up a gear slot, I don't think it trivializes the game, since we have way more broken gear items.

All will be revealed.  Don't you realize that if we have the medigel transmitter, we can spend the whole match going down on each other simultaneously?  No need to take turns.  It will bring us closer together.  Promise.

One change I would like though is to change the Winfiltrators tactical cloaks to work exactly like the Volus light melee, that way they still have a "get out of jail free" card, but they don't get the obscene damage bonus from it on top of it.

So, what are the

Man, it really is tough deciding what I dislike more between TGI and AIU.

Never really thought like this, but I will try to now.

 

1- Volus Adept and Volus Sentinel.  The worst of the Volus characters, and 2 would have been enough.  There were plenty of other potential characters that could have been done instead.

 

2- Cain Mine and Repair Matrix.  I've never used the Talon Merc, neither do I plan to, but the occasional times I have seen the Cain Mine Spammer build in play it was pretty ridiculous.  Repair Matrix totally eliminates the need to learn how to properly play the game.  AIUs with Grenade Capacity V, you KNOW they are expecting trouble, and they gobble up all the grenades that could have been put to better use.

 

3- Scimitar and Collector Assault Rifle, if only because there is really no reason to ever use either of them.

 

4- Armored Compartments and Geth Scanner.  Granted I use the Geth Scanner over 90% of the time, because it is hands-down one of the most useful Equips in the entire game.  I wouldn't say it trivializes the game, it does however trivialize every other Equip.

I like having all the options. If I don't like something I don't use it. If the group I'm with disapproves because lolcheese or lolscrub or some elitist bullshit **** you I'm out wishing that group was gone.

Forgot to mention Volguard..I know, I know..equip batarian gauntlet charge then sack punch..but that lost it's appeal after 2-3 games...it's  funnier when a quarian or asari do the falcon punch

Geth Bombers. These were just a stupid addition and only proceeded to make a pretty annoying faction even more of a pain in the ass. Oh did I mention that they ignore powers half the time? None of the weapons/characters Bioware added bothered me to the point I would want them removed. I just won't use them. I personally despise the AIU and thought the addition of 4 Volus was a waste of time that could have been better spent adding new Salarians and Spectre kits. I think 1 Volus would have been perfect (Engineer) but the others were unnecessary. The hazard maps were a lazy attempt at giving us new maps. Not to mention they cause big dips in framerate and other performance issues. (Regardless of my gripes I still put countless hours into this MP and I enjoyed every moment of it)

Well, the AIU was one of my choices. I kinda resent her for taking the niche of the human shotgun infiltrator. I mentioned Stimpacks and Repair Matrices because of the extra competition for grenade resources and for providing a nearly unlimited supply of Ops Packs for a couple characters. Not all of us are licking our wounds over getting outscored by someone with fewer challenge points.

I like parity and niche protection between characters. Those are shifting sands, yes, but I think it's worth pursuing.
