Except that it is massively easier to get yourself out of **** situations with the reegar than with many other 'op' weapons.I'm of the belief that the Reegar is right where it's supposed to be balance wise. The average BSNer is better than randoms who don't visit here (not trying to sound like a dick but it's true) and so using the Reegar is much easier. It's a very close range weapon and requires one to not get shot to **** while using it which is close to impossible for most players to do.
The list of twos you wish were never released...

None taken. Wasn't it proven to actually be better on PC (specifically with 60FPS)?
Yes, very much so. I was just putting my hands ahead cause some people around here are quite sensitive when it comes to PC and console comparisons
I seem to recall it's not even linear, so on PC it's more than twice as effective...

^The big difference between console and PC Reegar is the damage output vs armor, on console (specifically PS3) the Reegar does no damage to armor without specific ammo mods or some other power / ammo combos. On PC it also crushes armor.
As far as any other defense, it is still ridiculous even on PS3

I think around 30 to 40% better compared to xbox, which is just ridiculous when you throw incendiary into the picture.
PS3 can dip to 15 FPS in some cases, so the difference could be really ridiculously high there. Game just cannot track the hits at extremely high ROF weapons.

For a veteran player like you or myself then I definitely agree. However, it's lack of range and consequently need to weigh possible multiple threats at close range don't make it OP for a majority of the playerbase. That being said, I still agree that it's deadly on players who can handle it's pros while negating it's cons.Except that it is massively easier to get yourself out of **** situations with the reegar than with many other 'op' weapons.

Why all the hate for kits and powers that have ensured that the game have lived this long?
What the **** is wrong with the TGI or AIU or Reegar? I'm so gud I don't like it and since I don't like it none else should! never gets old, grow up princesses.
Out of curiousity, what framerate does your game usually run at? I also did not understand the reegar hate until I started playing on a better pc at 60+ fps. At those framerates the reegar + incendiary is reetarded, lol. No weapon should be able to one clip an Atlas, unless it's the spitfire or the typhoon w/ extended mag, IMO.

30 I think, I need 3 Reegar clips with Incindiary IV to take down a platinum Atlas.

After seeing the posts in the 'do not include this/that' threads, I decided to make a thread about stuff you wish were never released in ME3.
So, what are the
- Two characters
- Two powers
- Two weapons
- Two gears

2. Stim packs and repair matrix. Should have been more about stat boosts, and less about immortality.
3. Executioner and katana
4. Assault load out, survivor load out, combative upgrade, all three are equilly useless.

The problem with the Reegar lies more so in the Incendiary glitch, imo. I can't speak for PC, but on PS3, even with the HVB, if you're not running Incendiary, that thing does absolutely nothing to armor. Absolutely. Nothing.

Solo Plat in under 30 mins.
To be more specific, Trooper can have a wallhack and Armored Compartments. Vorcha soldier can't.

Talon Merc (broke key bindings) AIU (if I had to pick a second)
Snap Freeze Pull (both seem lame)
Reegar Krysae (cheese fondue weapons)
Geth Scanner (I'm ok with hunter mode for Geth kits) Grenade Capacity
What really annoys me the most though? Phantom pew-pew palm cannons, Geth carpet bombers, Dragoon 20 foot broad jump lunges.
Oh, and give Turians a dodge!

how do you check the framerates?
Use Shadowplay or Fraps on PC.

Fraps if on PC. Nvidia I believe has software as well that will check it. Steam supposedly has a display as well. PC peoplez could probably give you a better idea of how each of them work though.

Fraps has an optional overlay toggle that will display it for you
You can access it with the free version of Fraps

Report buttons & BioMods. Who needs 'em. Right? I mean, the ME3 game box says 17 and up/mature audiences only.
In game wise; EA disconnects & Banshee toe.
