Is there a way to share all the loot in your storage chest with all your characters?

It also irks me that you can't store some things in it. Why can't you store valuables there? I mean, you wouldn't need to store crafting materials, but valuables take up inventory space. Silly Bioware.

Aside from the 6 or 7 things needed by camp recipes, theres no reason to save 99.9% of everything labeled as "Valuables", which are literally junk items intended to be a source of gold in the game. They are meant to be sold to merchants for said gold.
As far as the OP, the storage chest is saved in the save game file for each character, there's literally no way to share the chest between characters.

My complaint about the storage chest is that we don't have it in Haven. By the time I get to Skyhold I really don't need it any more.

Nah, I like it the way it is... though I would love if we had the same chest in Haven as well.

That sucks you can't share. No point in saving weapons and gear then.
