Does the 24% Cold Resist and 32% Electrical resist you can put on armour STACK with the 80% Magic Defence given from promotion stats?
Or once someone is 170/170/170 just not bothering putting resists on armour at all?

No it´s real regenreation, like using a regeneration potion but a smaller amount per tick.

Electrical, fire, frost, and spirit resistance are separate and do stack with magic resistance multiplicatively,
an attack does 1000 damage, let's say spirit type
magic defense (80%) reduces it to 200
spirit resistance can then reduce it by a further 80% to 40
they stack, but if you have max magic resistance the effects are much less significant.

I was grinding some Nightmare dragons last night and was wondering why the storm dragon's lightning ball was only doing 13 damage to me. Then I realized I had Heart of Pride equipped (probably some lightning resist on the armor too). Seemed pretty significant to me.
