So, from what i can read whilst getting a massive headache, you want ME:A to not be called mass effect because it doesn't feature Shepard or is set in the Milky Way?

 

Its set in the same univers, so what should it be called?

Ignore most of the people here. The game is still in development and very little is known about it. Furthermore, the shift to Andromeda is basically one of the only way t to "according to BioWare" save the franchise while keeping their artistic integrity for ME3. Ultimately it's the fans fault for killing the franchise with the "ultimate decision" crap as a consequence, the writers lost the power to even control the story of their own game. I have a thread called "GIVE US SOMETHING BIOWARE WHAT THE HELL" but still nothing... we have to wait man

It is(even now) far from perfect, but it knows capital letters, and even a full stop, if you used it in you original sentence.

The OP says that the new ME game has no relation to the previous game. Instead of fixing the ending, they decide to abandon everything in the previous games. He wants Bioware to release gameplay footage because he doesn't trust Bioware anymore, and empty promises are no longer enough. 1st off, where you're wrong. The character's aren't the most important, the species they represented were. The Milky Way...we shall see, I don't have much hope of liking it as a ME game without the MW. 3rd we've only seen a teaser trailer and a very early concept video, so I have no idea where demo is coming from. Finally no mistake was made with the ending in fact it was the best it could be with all the mistake's made through the whole trilogy. Also they didn't make the ending for you, they made the ending they wanted to make, so if you didn't like it it's your problem not theirs and you are luck you even got EC. Finally they didn't show a demo because they don't have to answer to the whiner's and they're focussing on making their game, so if you don't like this make your own or find another.
