When you are living in a galaxy of trillions, in which humanity is a minority, among strange alien species... yes a human face would be a familiar face.

The devs obviously used the phrase to mean that they wouldn't be abandoning species of the MW in favor of all new Andromedan species. Honestly, I really dont see how anyone could have interpreted it otherwise when we know that they are probably doing this to tuck tail and run as far away from ME3 as possible.

I suppose that's true, but we're not living in the MEverse, now are we?

And I was referring to what the OP said, not the devs.

Except the devs have said familiar races, not faces, when referring to the Milky Way races.

Okay, so I saw the title of the thread, and I thought "Well it has four pages, so I guess it's not that horrible of a question."

Wrong. Completely wrong.

I understand absolutely none of the gibberish the original poster was blabbering on about.

My eyes were bleeding after reading so many typos. Also, from the summary I pieced together with other people's interpretations, this is a very...*coughstupidcough* thread.

Without a doubt, you can't grow the way you think.

Luckily for you I'm a glutton for punishment and managed to translate the OP's post into basic English. Here you go: http://forum.bioware...est/?p=19563374

I agree that this is a stupid thread though.

Knows Bioware's "tricks"...

Does not know punctuation.

Hmmm..... I'm skeptical of those tricks you seem to know, op :P

The OP is probably a vorcha.

Okay, I'll attempt at translating the OP's post to basic proper English. I have to admit that English is not my first language, so I might make some mistakes. Bear with me.

"Dear BioWare,

you recently announced Mass Effect: Andromeda with a spectacular trailer that really caught people's attention. Sadly, the trailer we were shown at the E3 did not really show us anything substantial. Your commentary on the ME:A announcement was really nothing more than a lot of hot air. Yet videogame news outlets all over the internet report on the ME:A announcement as if we are dealing with something newsworthy. In my opinion, we have not seen anything newsworthy at all. No gameplay demo or anything substantial that would convince me that ME:A is really going to be a next-gen Mass Effect game.

In fact, from what I have heard so far with regards to ME:A I actually have serious doubts whether we are dealing with a true new Mass Effect game here. ME:A is not going to have any of the familiar characters that we got to know and love over the course of the trilogy, nor any of the breath-taking locations from the first trilogy, like for example the Citadel. We are probably not going to see mass relays in ME:A either.

If this is indeed the case, then I do not think ME:A deserves to be called a true Mass Effect game. I have to wonder if the reason you are completely moving away from the original trilogy has anything to do with the atrocious endings of Mass Effect 3. If that is indeed the case then that is really saddening. If you would just have recognized the mistakes you made with the ME3 endings and actually fixed these mistakes, then maybe we could have seen more games set in the Milky Way, the setting that we are familiar with and grown fond of over the past couple of years.

BioWare, if you want to convince me and other people that Mass Effect: Andromeda is truly going to be a real Mass Effect game then please, show us some gameplay footage instead of pre-rendered teasers and empty words.

I look forward to your reply.

Yours faithfully,

John_Shepard."

I'm still not sure what he meant with the pricing though. ^^
