So people,

I've watched and read a bit about the Decent dlc and it seems it's another lacking 15dollar, euro dlc with one set of new armors and a few new dwarven weapons. No conclusion to many questions raised during the story. Can't see myself buying it especially when the last dlc, spoils of the qunari is still bugged and no word from Bioware about it.I took a look at the patch 9 notes and it mostly addresses multiplayer issues.Thats alright for people that actually play the multiplayer, which i don't.I buy a rpg for it's singleplayer and nothing else.Still no armor options for skyhold, still alot of bugs in the base game aswell. If it was fixed i can't see it.

Dear Bioware ,i won't invest any more money into your products untill you fix the issues still present in the base game aswell as the last spoils dlc.Stop wasting resources on that terrible multiplayer stuff.

Cheers

Funny you say that, because I love the multiplayer mode and I was against it at first. It has a pretty close-knitted community on BSN and I met quite a bunch of interesting people to chat with. Single player mode could inspire itself from the MP options like salvaging weapons and armors to collect material and such. Also, I don't believe they're wasting anything at this point. Both teams are allowed different amount of cash to create their stuff and both sides of the game can be played separately. While I understand that some people are frustrated that the gameplay of the MP influenced the SP, I particularly don't mind it at all as long as the AI does what I request of it through the tactical menu and the strategy options of the characters menu.

You're goddamn right OP. The DLC is lacking and I regret paying $15 since it's not worth the money. You're also spot on about the multiplayer. The game is still riddled with bugs, glitches and optimization problems and Bioware doesn't care enough to fix them. They just want to shoot out $15 DLC with barely any worthwhile content.

I also bought Hakkon recently when it was on sale for $12. Still can't believe origins taxes you. Anyways people tell me that Hakkon is more of a bargain than the Descent.

So i've heard. What really bugs me about Bioware and their games recently is...it seem they start something but shortly before the finish line they stop and turn around or just don't bother anymore. They make tinting for armor possible but not for weapons. They make some great looking armor for humans but didn't bother with the other races. Now they made the qunari dlc but they released it totally bugged and i'am having a hard time to understand how such obvious bugs, problems could slip through. Also the Avvar armor sets could have been included in the Hakkon dlc.Npcs are already wearing them, so the model, textures are in the game. But no, they rip it from the Hakkon dlc and charge you extra for them. It's not much fun playing games these days with all the bugs, charging for every little hat and boot.I feel ripped off by those companies. But refuse to buy it...it's enough.

Well to be fair the last 2 patches focused mostly on the MP I am hoping they get back to fixing the damn SPs plethora of issues hell The Descent added even more B-Ware you can't ignore them because if every piece of new content adds more issues and you arent fixing them you will alienate the rest of your fans good job.

Totally agree with Prophet and BobZilla.

Bioware seems to forget that most of their fans buy their game for the soloplayer.

And when we see that the soloplayer contents are bugged plus the fact that we pay for it, plus the fact that they seem to care more about the multi we have to say "ENOUGH !!!".

I know it's a different team for the solo and the multi but since the bugged spoils of qunari, the absence of fix, apologies or communication I've just lost my faith in Bioware and I'm really mad ad them.

I'm not buying anything from then until they fix things or at least apologize to us. (That will be a start ...)

I'd probably pay 15$ to experience the DLC myself, but I'm currently no-life status and no stable income. I hear good things from dwarf fans and then I see threads like this. Can anyone PM me spoilers about what happens inside this dlc?

I wouldnt hold my breath on that apology Frost I took the same stance after DA2 & ME3 and I am still waiting for that apology but in all seriousness the most we can hope for is they fix the damage their new content creates heres hoping.

I could tell you the story of Beths Dawnguard dlc back in 2012 i think it was.The EU version was unplayable, from invisible enemies and armor to broken quests and crashes.First they denied it then they said they fixed it but no"I'am sorry we sold you a broken piece of garbage and we knew it!"...There is a obvious pattern in the gaming industry.AC Unity was another example and the list goes on.Obvious bugs and often game breakers are ignored and the game is released anyway. It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
But i don't see it change as long as people buy those broken games day one.I wait six months and more to spare me the frustration.

I agree the choices the Devs make can be infuriating in my opinon they keep making more issues with every new piece of content they release but dont fix the SPs problems so instead they focus on the MP a mode that was tacked on its ridiculous.

Am I the only one who was expecting to see and or battle an actual titan at the end of this DLC? I was pretty disappointed with this.

Valta: We're inside the titan...!

Me: *looks around at some rocks* Okay...... Seems fake, but okay.

(And no, you weren't the only one.)

Yeah the Titan thing was complete nonsense. They didn't attempt to explain because they haven't a clue themselves. Expect this to be swept under the rug and quietly forgotten.
