I wonder whether each class, or group of classes, should have different dodge moves. As is stands, every type of Shepard has the same exact combat roll, whether Adept, Soldier, Engineer, etc. The same goes for the generic humans in MP. But then you get to something like the N7 Fury and you have some really unique (and fun) dodge moves. I think it might be nice if the Adept class, at least, got those same dodge moves. (Plus, I am dying to have an annihilation field/throw combo in SP.)

I dug the unique dodges in the ME3 multiplayer where you had Asari biotics having biotic infused side dashing and other such things with some other classes. I approve of this for SP.

I'd like that, in ME3 MP I think I was a Turian vanguard and was teleporting around the place and it was really fun.

I'm not sure it makes sense but okay I guess.  The only class with movement related abilities is the vanguard(soldier I guess as well), exactly what is a adept dodge?  Hey if it improves gameplay and it doesn't feel forced I guess fine.

Basically, OP is asking for more variation in the dodge animations beyond the standard combat roll in ME:A for single player.  Variation in dodge animations in ME:A MP is a given, but single player is a different matter.

Since we're likely getting a jetpack, which will probably end up being an individual ability in and of itself (imo), I wouldn't be surprised if the more tech-inclined classes (specifically Infiltrator and Engineer) would have tech-assisted dodge animations.  As for biotic classes (Adept and Vanguard), their dodge animations would likely be assisted by use of biotics.  Soldier would most likely stick to the usual combat roll, but Sentinel is...... iffy, at best.  Sentinel could go any one of those 3 directions and not have many issues.

Then again, this is assuming that BW is going this route.  Won't know for sure until we get more info.

More dodging will keep people fit and up to speed that's for sure. The cover from fire's good and all, hiding behind making it so dodging isn't too big a thing but realistically in combat situations (sometimes) there might not be cover in every place. I was thinking maybe getting down to a crawl to make yourself as small a target as possible, and maybe portable cover with a very little slot for shooting, nothing too big that you'd get shot through. Toojustoodangerous. Good for when you've secured everyone behind and to the sides of your squad, so no one can sneak up on you. And crawling/rolling to stay down while getting away when things are a-blazing? No? Is it just me? Anyway I'dwantthat

That's not really an adept though.  Under the general adept in MP, but unless they give the Adept in SP a movement power why would the adept dodge differently?  I don't really care if its a side step vs a roll but I don't want an adept to teleport(doesn't seems to fit to me, seems stealing vanguard thunder too much) and without a teleport I don't want a teleport dodge.

Kind of jumps like a kangaroo! So Quarians bendy legs are useful.

The first is your interpretation of the meaning of the Adept-class, the second is something we can all agree on. Why? Because all N7 classes are ''Spehsiul".
