hi.

in order and try to fix an issue with the game i was instructed by support to do a bunch of things including reinstalling the game.

in order to do that i must have all of my progress synced with Dragon Age Keep as to not lose any of it.

i have finished the original story and would like to start playing the DLC's, however that other issue i need to fix is preventing me from doing so.

the fact that i have finished the game should mean that everything should be visible and synced in Dragon Age Keep. however, in the Dragon Age Inquisition section of the tapestry, my progress have only been partially synced as most of the squares are "hidden" as if i haven't gotten to that point in the game yet (which isn't true as i have completed the game).

any suggestions?

i was chatting with support but they could not provide me with a solution, and told me to post this thread here.

please help.

P.S.

i have read somewhere that the developer console may interfere with the syncing process, however i cannot seem to find a way to disable it.

Just because you finished the game doesnt mean everything is known to you, since there is some plot lines it is not possible to hit in a single play session. IE what happens at the end of Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts can have many different options.

It is not really a large problem if it is listed as hidden, because if you click on the DAI symbol in the top right, and then click on the gear you can change it so you see everything.

i understand what you're saying but i still wonder... in the previous games there are also multiple plot lines depending on your choices, however in dragon age keep all of the squares are shown. if i finished the entire game (including all side quests), what other plot lines could there be??

from what I've seen for the previous games in the keep, it is built such that each square represents a possible choice (or quest), and then when you click it the details of that choice are shown (like "this person died and that one survived", "you chose to side with that person", and so on). is the keep for inquisition built differently? because if not i should be seeing all squares (and the details of my choices).

also, when i say "some" squares are hidden  i don't mean 2 or 3, i mean half of them: 7 out of 14 are "hidden". does that make sense if i finished the game (including all side quests)?

but regardless of the hidden or not hidden thing, how can i be sure that 100% of my progress have been synced and not only some of it? because honestly if i find out that not all I've done has been synced and i have to do it again, ill just give up on this game (which i don't want to do).

I could be missing something, but what is your ultimate goal with the keep syncing your game?

Since you are able to unhide things (as I indicated in my first post) you can easily choose your actions that you did. I would suggest you unhide and see what options are actually being hidden before saying that is a problem based on something like 7/14 of them are hidden. I do not see why you would put down the game because it would not upload when you are easily able to select things yourself.

At some point we will like construct a canon and unhide everything as is.

Some choices have never unlocked properly for me, even though I've played the game four times. (Mostly around the War Table - even doing all the post-game stuff you're meant to do an then saving the game doesn't get me the proper tiles for the wedding or Sutherland's company. Never mind getting the Keep to admit that I did any operations in the first place ...)

If you're not worried about spoilers, just unhide all the tiles and pick whatever you did.

my goal is saving my progress for future use of course.

specifically this scenario, in order to solve a problem with the game i was instructed to reinstall it. however when i uninstall it i don't want to lose my saved game and progress, so that when i reinstall it again i can continue from exactly the same point.

i have "unlocked" the hidden tiles like you said and its not synced properly. there are a lot of choices which i have definitely made in the game which do not appear in the dragon age keep (they are just set to their default values).

with all do respect and appreciation for the mechanism which allows you to manually change your choices within the keep, there are WAY too many of them to start changing them manually one by one. not to mention that the last time i played the game long enough ago that i forgot some of the choices which I've made.
