Some of you probably remeber that in Tien's Landing, there is a locked gate that shows the the this message when you click on it. I was replaying Jade Empire today when I came across these again, and I couldn't remember if there was anything behind these doors or not. So I decided to google it, and I have found absolutely nothing. I found one guide that referenced these gates, but said nothing of what their purpose was. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have a purpose, what's actually perplexing is that I can't find anywhere else on the internet where somebody has asked about these sealed gates. Nobody? I'm used to games being picked apart by their community, so I can't imagine this was completely ignored. Maybe the forums that discussed this have been deleted? Nonetheless, if you know anything about these gates, or can find somewhere else where it's been discussed, please tell me. Maybe my Googling skills just aren't that great.

I seem to recall those gates leading to another part of Tien's Landing that you can already reach, and presumed they were sealed to force you to take the long way around.

I believe what @Gues_Piddi III _* said is correct, the gates were sealed just to make you take the long way around Tien's Landing.
