Yes, and please put effort into it. The quality and choices from ME3 were ridiculous

I would kill for some decent looking beards. Honestly, the amount of times I shut down a man Shep for having facial hair like a teenager who really wants to have a beard...

No stache, please. Otherwise, yes!!! ^^
Oh, and make them look futuristic somehow. Be creative for once, Bioware!

Idk, it would depend on if they did it better than in DAI. From what I understand, the FB3 engine is rather...unwieldy when it comes to hair, and esp. facial hair.
So, all I can say is good luck with that. But if we are not military--in a strict sense, then I don't see why not beards, etc.
As was mentioned earlier, it would be cool to have some of the options be futuristic designs and styles.

That's not up to Bioware, since they don't own the Frostbite engine.

It's easy to make moving hair for a few set of characters, but it's a lot more expensive and time consuming to do it for customized characters since there are more than one they have to account for. I'm supporting it, but I understand if they don't include it.

Sera in Inquisition also has hair that moves. It's easier when the options are few or nonexistent for a static character model.

I think facial hair should be kept to a level that's easily contained within a helmet. That's a more important feature when we're dealing with toxic atmospheres and the vacuum.

Good luck with that!
Chris Wynn's tweets point to certain focused areas of the game. Believe me when I say that none of the tweets (so far) even mentions the CC (that I'm aware of)..

Didn't realize it... I'd still like to see it though.

I'm good with clean shaven and basic haircuts given we are playing as military men and women. No matter how much in the future we go the military will never allow its members to appear slovenly. The only exceptions being if you are operating behind enemy lines trying to blend in with the populous...then it's a necessity.

I'm fairly sure there is a limit in the amount of bear, facial hairs you can have when joining the military.

@Those who claim military standards
I doubt we will be just a simple soldier. It seems more like a prospector, finding colonizable planets. So I guess we have more freedom. Besides, beards gained great popularity since the time of first mass effect and beside, just think of all the alien babes that never had a chance to fondle a handlebar moustache
Or braided beard for that matter ![]()

I'm consistently disappointed with the facial hair options in all Bioware games. That's one of the very few things that I feel like I can bank on every time. I'd love to have a beard, but they always look absolutely ridiculous so I just settle with stubble. I'd love to see the option for a short, trimmed, neat beard. They never do that. It's always:
- one or two types of stubble
- 5-6 terrible cheesy moustache varieties
- 3-4 plastic santa beards
There's never a beard option like this:

Sort of.That's not up to Bioware, since they don't own the Frostbite engine.
Yes, they can't make the engine more moddable, but their explanation for why it isn't is based on middleware.
If they would tell us what that middleware was and what it did, mayhaps we could emulate it well enough to get mods working.
Unless that's not the actual reason.
