Where are the darkspawn? I've been playing for a while today and no Darkspawn

 

Now that'm looking at it, are there specific spiders that count? I'm pretty certain I've killed more than 100 spiders...

Probably a new dlc for you MP guys or a part of the patch that yet to function.

As for the spiders, when the challenge initially went out it only counted the monster "spider" found while looting treasure rooms.  From last friday onward it now includes fearlings.

So I've only killed 11 spiders since Friday? Now that I think about it, there haven't been many spiders rooms recently...

Do you need to land killing blow, or just be in on the kill? My count isn't going up as fast as it seems it should, not sure if I should start playing the dbag and waiting to get the last shot, like so many have done to me for health.

Even in SP, there is a serious lack of Darkspawn (unless, of course, you pay extra to get more of them on a DLC).
