Uhuh. Because Inquisition is clearly worse than E.T. or Superman N64 or Daikatana or Duke Nukem Forever or Ride to Hell: Retribution or a thousand tie-in shovelware games and everyone will recognise this any day now.
(Yes, I know, I know, don't feed the troll. It's just such a boggling statement!)
I have trouble seeing this game as being worse than Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Hell, I have trouble seeing Inquisition being worse than Neverwinter Nights OC. Main quest was fetch four things, every single chapter. At least in Inquisition the fetch quests are side quests...
NWN OC was pretty bad. But since NWN gave us Hordes of the underdark i can't stay mad at it.
Did that ever actually come out?? I thought it was cancelled?
Well, something named "Aliens: Colonial Marines" was indeed released, but showed suspiciously little resemblance to the "vertical slices" shown before, i.e.
scenes shown in trailers not being in the game, graphics downgraded from the trailers because they couldn't get them to run on consoles, an AI that could be outsmarted by a bag of rocks, AI teammates that could get stuck, sometimes completely blocking you from completing a mission. Good times... for those who hadn't preordered.

I should've found this thread sooner... The sheer hatred some people have for DA:I is ridiculous x'D
I'm hoping that Lady Ishtar is just a terrible troll.

You gotta love the level design though.
You have a central square, with exits at each side, leading to another square where you find the item.
And that goes on for 4 chapters! Gotta love the symmetry.
Four item locations, located on four walls of the hub location, repeating over four chapters
A pity you only got one mute companion instead of three, or you'd get a perfect symmetry with controlling four characters at once.
What a wasted opportunity.
But yeah, both expansions were really good, so I'm willing to forgive them that game.

Nothing can be worst than CatFight: The Ultimate Female Fighting Game (1996) developed by Phantom but Ride to Hell:Retribution is a close second.

It's quite clear EA is not investing in the last title. There isn't a good marketing strategy for the DLCs, that are nothing but more of the same, few maps a small team can build up without too many expenses. The price of said DLCs is high, like they want to milk all they can from the few fans that are going to buy them.
My point is: DA:I sold very, very poorly.
Did it? What are the numbers?
Such threads will never die on this forum, won't they?
They're like herpes, it seems.
In any case, I can't see how EA's *not* investing in DAI, considering we have very good chances of receiving 3rd, possibly considerably sized DLC, while Bioware simultaneously works on ME:A *and* their new secret IP.
I'd also like to point out that more than quarter million people apparently saw Descent DLC trailer on Bioware YT channel alone in 2 weeks after its release, which will soon come close to half of what Citadel DLC amassed in 2 years time. So whatever they're doing, it seems to be working after all - and now that I think about it, it would actually be a perfect time to unleash something *special*, considering that the company reminded everyone that DA franchise is alive and kicking, as well as getting a stream of new content.

I want more dlc packs and dlcs.
Yes, I bought all DA:I dlc to date, PS4.

I think the NWN OC is the weakest thing BioWare has ever produced by far. It feels like the plot was scribbled down on the back of a napkin and then implemented in about six weeks. (Mind you, from what I understand, this is not that far from the truth, so the fact that it exists and is playable is some kind of achievement.)
On the other hand, we did get two good expansions out of it, including Deekin and Valen

Catfight was just a mediocre rip-off Mortal kombat clone. Ride to Hell is an insultingly horrible game, in a league of it's own.

Wouldn't that make it rather fetching?
I think some people really want to see bioware fall I think its sad really
So, Bioware basically caught a bad case of Nintendosis:
"This company deserves to collapse as karmic punishment for not pandering specifically to Me"
DA:I is far from being the worst game ever made. But it is also far from being the best Bioware game.
Usually when someone states that a company is not investing in a product it usually means that the company is not investing the way I want the company to invest. If EA was not investing in DA:I no dlc would have been released. If DA:I was not financially successful EA would cut its losses and move on. The point that dlc has been released and more appears to be coming (IMHO) means that DA:I was successfully enough for EA to continue to invest.
DA:I is far from being the worst game ever made. But it is also far from being the best Bioware game.
The worst DA. It actually beat DA2 in that category, something almost everyone back then wouldn't think it could happen.
