Hello,
I just finished playing through this DLC and I loved it! I think Bioware did a really good job with it.
This one felt a lot more story orientated to me. The Darkspawn, music and atmosphere were all great too.
Thoroughly enjoyed it!
I hope future DLCs are also more story based like The Descent (just throw in a Desire Demon in their classic form somewhere and I will die happy, I miss conversing with them lol)
Anywho, just wanted to say thanks Bioware, I enjoyed the DLC
I really don't get how so many people think 'The Descent' was more story oriented. It was basically a whole lot of fighting, with a few notes here and there, and then at the end some really cool and bizarre things happening, but not explaining one single bit of it. Tell us about these things called Titans that apparently made the world, but offering nothing to back that up with. Hear about this race the old dwarves were calling the scaled ones, without seeing hide nor hair, or scale, of a single one.
The Descent threw a whole lot of crap at you, and expects you to just move on from this place without ever learning why you were there to begin with. Just some mysterious and enigmatic comments from a dwarf that amounts to nothing.
The Jaws of Hakkon, for all that it makes some of the same mistakes are the original game, at least had an interesting story about the original Inquisitor.
I mean, don't get me wrong, glad that you liked it and all, but I really don't understand people saying this was so story oriented.
