Lots and lots of money but not enough to buy a planet.

There.

I'd buy the Neptune Theatre in Seattle and show the Rocky Horror and Bladerunner endlessly and have live bands and write my own rock operas and confrontation-theatre in-your-face performance-art stage productions, charge tickets and try to have it pay for itself.

Some off the cuff ideas:

Purchase the means needed to implement ESRB filters for Bioware games. Also buy into the company. Have breakfast and donuts catered daily to the team, host a BBQ annually, rehire old team Developers looking for work including both Doctors, and invest heavily in EA. Get a new GPU with each new title, and have a Techie on demand for support. Hire an investment counselor that I trust. Open a Bioware branch here at home so that the Canadians have a place in the Winter.

Maybe more later....

I'd purchase rustic chests, fill them with gold and jewels, bury them in remote locations or place them inside ancient (or at least ancient looking) temples armed with elaborate mechanical traps and tests, and write cryptic trails to their locations before hiding them within dusty books.

That or build secret passages beneath surburban houses and hide treasure.

I'd be like that episode of Even Stevens with the golden sausage.

World domination.

The world needs an Emperor. And I, through my compassion and selflessness, will be that Imperial Deity. And purge the world of heresy through fire and steel!!

And in that wake a new world born! VOXTOPIA!!!

Voxr in Fortitudine

If not that I'd buy BSN. And change the ToS and EULA so Mods would get warning points, instead of us.
Yeah....

Also,
-get into the market of manufacturing "things."
-Connect these things to the Internet
-Create a network and software suite to run these things through a centralized platform.
-platform will be Web based.
-software suite will automatically scan for things through an intranet
-software will involve remote services for accessing things such as accessing a 3d printer remotely and having the material transported to your doorstep.
-have a research and development section for creating new concepts for these things
-buy the largest cyber security firm for this

I'd create a company with the purpose of bringing ground effect craft to widespread use for both cargo and passenger transport.

I never understood why this hasn't caught on. It seem like they would fit in well between air and sea travel.

On-topic: I'd make batteries that didn't suck. Portable power storage is pretty much the main thing that's holding back all the scifi things.

Just remember to shield that coolant vent on your death star. Don't want some plucky farmer to take out your doomsday weapon with a single shot.

Yep that's what I meant. Enough money to be Iron Man but not enough to buy a planet...

Anyway how much does a planet cost?
