Not the most powerful, the one you enjoy playing and play well in your own mind?

Even though I think Rion is a total putz (stoopid mage luver) personality wise I have to say the my fav is the basic Fire and Ice (and barrier) Elementalist.

I get my two main attack abilities right off the hop with winters grasp and Immolate, add barrier and frost step.  Just a great all around class, some form of crowd control, can be a team healer almost almost on par with the keeper, extremely survivable.

I wish I saw more Elementalist with these abilities rather than the normal firewall, firestorm set up.  I think i play that class better as far as using all his abilities better than any other class.

I love playing the keeper with the stasis field. Most people hate it at first, then they see how useful it can be

I never us it on my keeper just for the reason you stated, I don't know how to use it properly, I do use static cage religiously though.  I have played with people that have used it properly though and agree it is a very underrated ability.

Don't care if Silent Sister is currently showing him up in a lot of people's minds, my One True Love™ in this game is my beloved Katari Train.  <3

I love Charging Bull-Mighty Blow against enemies, followed up by a Combat Roll and a Pommel Strike to the face.

(On a semi-related note, I'm also a fan of Winter's Grasp on Rion. My preferred build is Winter's Grasp, Firewall, Firestorm, and Barrier. I used Immolate for a long while, but just prefer the other spells more.)

Keeper with upgraded barrier, mind blast, decloaking blast and lightning bolt. Very effective against annoying terrors.

Someone needs to teach me how to use mindblast, I tried it only once and it seemed lacking.

For perilous, the avvar. He's just a walking ball of aoe. It's my best class to farm constitution promotes.

For nm, I actually enjoy playing the assassin. shet's not a "mash one button till enemies die" class, and actually requires awareness and proper positioning. It;s fun making stuff disappear. My gear/stats allows me to kill a single enemy in less than 2 seconds (twin fangs+ finish them off with deathblow). Even though at the end of the match i'm not at the top of the scoreboard, i usually finish the match with about 50-80 kills, depending on the team. The satisfaction comes from the fact that those kills were HVTs, like despair demons, venatori mages/brutes and RT knights/horrors.

My favourite to play is the Assassin, even though I die often. Yes, yes, learn to play. I am learning to play her... I just happen to hit the dirt while I'm learning.

I also like the Elementalist for his banter and personality. And his outfit.

Have to agree with the Avvar certainly a fun class to play.  My fav two handed class for sure.

I agree about the outfit.  I roll with the hooded version with the book on his back.

That's the one! :D

I also love that I can rain death and fire on enemies and he'd pipe up, "Did you see that? Did you see that?" like a kid.

Love me some Hunter. Was my first love, especially because my first top end unique was a Griffon Bow. A well-thrown grappling hook into a satisfying leaping shot or spike trap into a group of folks. Fantastic. Oh, or a well placed explosive shot from stealth, instantly melting a group of enemies with the auto critical and bonus damage. Just beautiful.

But nowadays he's been left behind. But he'll survive. He always does.

Of course Hunter with Hook & Tackle, Fallback Plan and Spike Trap, in combination with any other skill.

H&T is a silly gimmick - but it's just so much fun.

Also I shan't lie: You usually don't get a lot of cool black rogues in a fantasy video game unless I create them myself, that's for sure. Go Thornton.

It's weird, but Assassin with Stealth, Hidden Blades, Deathblow, and Flank Attack. Cull the Herd as a final, optional passive just to see stupidly high numbers on the dragon. Must have Hakkon dagger though. Shreds through enemies like it's nothing, constantly in stealth. It's great.

But then I have to promote and level again and it's boring, stale gameplay til I get those more entertaining abilities and passives.

I like running the Archer with caltrops+, spike trap+, evade+, and leaping shot+. It's a lot of fun because I found a little exploit where if you place a spike trap immediately after casting caltrops it won't go on cool down. So you can evade into a group of enemies, throw down caltrops and two spike traps and while your enemies are tossed up into the air or lying on the ground from spike trap you can hit them with leaping shot and reset all your cooldowns... Most of the time, sometimes leaping shot will let you down.

As for my favourite: Lego with Shield wall, walking fortress, war cry, counterstrike.

Perilous and below is just a joke: what can u do to me if you only deal 1 damage per hit?

As for NM, I actually need to use some skills if I don't want to be careful with positioning. But at the end of the day, all you need to do is run ahead, taunt as much mobs as you can, hit them with auto attacks. Usually if you have lots of mobs around you, you proc walking fortress none stop. But when you are on the floor with empty guard, it's usually a good time to cast walking fortress. and then you just keep taunting to have mobs to hit on.

No one blames you so long as you never goes down. Being able to taunt every last mob around you is even better.

Pros: You don't need to do lots of damage. Just don't die (no you never will) and that's all. You can even fall half asleep in NM and still be fine when u wake up (yup that's me. Until someone shouted through his mic.) Take satisfaction in how all the mobs cuddle around you and they just give u more and more guards and reduced CD.

Cons: You don't get any HoK in NM whatsoever... (well you could... but that's not the point) But I only ever lost health in Zone 4 and that's fine because you got unyielding. 2 heal potions took care of this. No worries  B)

I should start playing the Lego now that I finished my 250 with Katari. I think I've only run 6 matches with him ever.

The Elementalist is my favorite and strongest class by far. Every other class I've taken to NM has been a struggle or a fail and I end up switching back to good old Rion (even if he is a bit of a whiner).

Been playing the Archer a lot recently and really like him. I haven't been able to figure out the Hunter; I tried looking at some of the build suggestions but most of them seem to be dated from a few patches back.

I switch often to enjoy different playstyles but the Duellist is most fun for me, followed by the Elementalist.
