Okay guys, idk if you noticed this but do you notice that DAO and the mass effect trilogy has kind of a similar story ..... [ you'll understand ]

And since DAO can end up with either The Warden dead or alive, why can't they just give Mass Effect 3 the Dragon Age Awakening treatment? Where you can either import your old character and continue his/her story or create a new character and mold a new story ......... I mean it's completely fair to those who want a fresh start or who wants continuation.....

Since the trilogy is dead along with Shep's universe, what's the point?

We are talking about ME:A, yes?

Because BioWare has already come out and stated that Shepard's story is done.

Put a fork in it.

Because the events of Dragon Age Awakening happen right after the Landsmeet...if your warden goes to Amarathine as the grey warden Commander. The events of ME:A happen waaaaaay in the future.  So the only way to have Shepard come back as protag would be as cyborg who never dies, a zombie who never dies, or a ghost. None would be appealing to play.  Plus, it would not reconcile with any of the endings very well...even DESTROY.

Let Shepard rest.  He/She worked hard enough. Don't be afraid to try something new.

They didn't originally want to include the Warden. They ultimately did, but the DA:A story doesn't react to it.

Maybe a random codex found very late game on Shepard?

I kind of wish that they didn't. I would have rather the game just have the Orlesian Warden-Commander and we can just get reference to the other Warden. About the only thing in Awakening that does kind of make the old Warden worth it is Nathaniel, especially if you're a human noble.

That you couldn't import the world state and play as the Orlesian warden was a big disappointment. Especially if your warden's dead.

No, I don't think Shepard should be the protag in MEA, the universe is bigger than one man/woman.

Oh man, so agree. It was so out of character for my Warden. I hated that expansion and only played it once for importing purposes.

I thought the point of a new series or reboot was to wipe the slate clean and start anew.  If you want to see Shepard and the team again, start another playthrough.

You're now on the 3Rd stage, I'm affraid the next will be depression but I sure hope you'll reach acceptance quickly.

If my warden wasn't a CE, I wouldn't have felt such sweet satisfaction when killing him.

Shepard the zombie cyborg who turns into a ghost vampire every other weekend.  Make it happen Bioware!

I apologize that is all I have to say on the whole thread.

Also it doesn't have to change ME:A ....... hell tbh i wanna play as turian infiltrator or krogan vanguard and im even looking forward to these new races ... [ want to play as a geth though......... a geth outside of the veil ......... ]

Practically anything ...... from DLC or a game [ maybe after ME:A but i think DLC is the best option here ] ...... I seriously have no problem with them going to a new universe and starting over but they just gotta provide closure for everyone ....... i think it would even be better as the last dlc for ME3 where you see the damn aftermath ...

A dlc would suffice [ it should be the best dlc next to citadel dlc or better ]

BTW i have no problems with having new characters......... as long as they provide closure to the trilogy then im ok fine ...... even chose the dialogue option where my shepard would intend to rest in the beach? [ yeah i think thats what he said to garrus, like thane said..... one day you just gotta stop all the fighting ]

My good vision would be some kind of memorial to everybody who died or to shepard [ if he dies ] and seeing the aftermath [ depending on choices, like all those damn choices man ] ....... maybe like shepard with his LI and interacting with them...... or maybe party after the memorial?

If by Awakening Treatment, you mean we get Body Horror and Eldritch Abominations, as well as a peak at an alien society then count me in.

Shepard's story is done.  People are really against change aren't they? I'd hate to see them in real life..

Dude im not against change [ just incase you didn't read my last reply, i really want to play as a turian infiltrator or just a turian, they're my favorite race ( maybe cuz they look like raptors or a lizard, humans are kind of boring at this point ) ] ...... im just asking for damn closure ...... In fact if they just did the ending right in the first place .... lot of people wouldnt ask for this ...

Actually - they haven't ... don't like it, don't buy it. Simple.

Shep's live/dead state is a very small issue as to why they can't carry forth in the milky way. Also i wouldn't want an awakening style Shep story if he/she was deprived of the characters important to him and instead accompanied by a batch of new characters as happened in awakening.

Moreover It's the world shattering choices that were made during the course of ME3 coupled with the rainbow ending variations that make any such continuation impossible without canonising.

Two letters ofc ........................................  EA

Also does anybody know if people in the Andromeda galaxy can dance better than the Milky Way galaxy people do?

Legion beatbox & robot dancing > Shepard Shuffle>> Mass Effect trilogy dancing

This.  So many times this.

Stop obsessing over bringing back Shepard, folks.  Geez.  You don't have to play the same damn character in every single game set in that universe.

Ain't obsessing just giving a suggestion.......... It would be disappointing if the MEA protagonist is an N7 human though that's just copy-paste shepard

It wouldn't work.

Even when Shepard would be only option, whole story would have to be written to fit Shepard character. No fresh start here, only fresh face on old story.

Coz awakening didnt handle the Import with the Gray Warden well at all.
