Can i have a full list of these new MP weps, i had gotten a hakkon valor GS from my 1st NM today n it tells me there must be a new wave of weps, i just came back to MP after 2 or 3 months and i'm lost , it was definetely enough to bring me back! But i really want to find out if this GS is part of a set of weps or standalone, n cant find an updated wep list!

One-Handed

Revered Defender Longsword (Rare)

Valos Atredum (Unique)

 

Two-Handed

Revered Defender Maul (Rare)

Supposedly, you have to get the Rare version first before the Unique version can drop from the Perilous/Nightmare Dragon, unless they nixed the idea and allowed them to be obtainable through chests. Kingfisher's Staff is also the only Unique that doesn't have a Rare counterpart.

 Thanks ^^ definetely breathes life back into this game for me like the me3mp platinum, NM isn't a pushover i can tell HB will be hell.

I don't find anything about the new weapons disappointing. You have the Hakkon's which are awesome and you also have these new level 26 items that are really freaking good if not quite the level of the hakkon they are still massive upgrades. What is nice about that is you can get them at the perilous level so more casual players have something to look forward to.

 

What is the issues you have with them?

I don't find anything about the new weapons disappointing. You have the Hakkon's which are awesome and you also have these new level 26 items that are really freaking good if not quite the level of the hakkon they are still massive upgrades. What is nice about that is you can get them at the perilous level so more casual players have something to look forward to.

Hm...I thought I read that while the rare versions could be acquired in perilous, you had to run Nightmare with the rare version in your inventory to acquire the unique versions.

 

Frankly, I don't feel those weapons are worthy of Nightmare-completion. They're not bad, but...that lack of crafting slots really kills their appeal to me.

I imagine the issue for most people who don't like them is the lack of weapon upgrade slots.

Currently you can get the purple version of the level 26 weapons on perilous (both my wife and I have done so). I am going to operate on the assumption that this behavior is not a bug. If that is the case then I think these are very good weapons. Otherwise I see your guys points about them.

I got level 26 purple shield/dagger from perilous, purple 1h sword from nm; so you dont need to do nm for them.

Good to hear. I was going off of Luke's post in this topic:

 

Also, those 26 blues should be dropping from Perilous and Nightmare dragon and if you have one, you will now be able to get the upgraded purple version from the Nightmare dragon. Eventually they will be added to the core loot tables, probably around the same time new stuff appears...

 

Perhaps the time that 'new stuff' was implemented already came? Still not crazy about any of them lacking crafting slots, but at least they can be acquired more easily.

Correct. Everything but the Hakkon weapons you can get on perilous dragon drops including the 26 purples.  Although for the new 26s you have to get the blue version first and have it in your inventory before you can get the purple drop.  I can say that the 150% explode on kill with the new bow is pure awesome on the dragon map.  I was spamming longshot and explosive shot on the bridges and leaving body parts everywhere.
