I would like to do an engineer solo as I haven't done any yet,

Talon Merc is off the table and I'm not so interested in QME/Venom either,


I'm thinking either the Salarian engineer with Venom vs Cerberus or the Female quarian with Wraith vs Reapers (or possibly Collectors).


Which engineer solos have you enjoyed the most?

Salarian Engineer/Venom on Cerberus/Jade -- it's a solo challenge from Pres' thread. I'm pretty sure I've completed it at least 30 times.

SE is by far the most fun I've had among engineer solos.

Venom, falcon or scorpion vs. geth/cerberus is hilarious.

 

Besides SE, turian saboteur and HE solos are the ones I like the most.

On Jade, to complete the themed aspect. QFE with Wraith sounds good too.

 

My favorite was probably a Wraith vorcha hunter solo, VS Cerberus. A vanilla human engineer trolling Geth with the drone can be fun too.

My qfe w/ executioner against reapers plat was really satisfying. Killing phantoms without a stagger weapon is always a challenge especially when only having 1 shot.

You can try a Demolisher solo for a challenge, not too many people have done that. 

 

Though, for lulz and maniacal laughter inducing, you can do Salarian Engineer vs. Geth on pretty much any map. Slasher already said it but it's completely unfair and gives Geth what they deserve.

Pat, vanilla is the best flavour. HE with Paladin is excellent. The tin can opener also works quite well, if you are so inclined.

I'm leaning a bit towards the SE vs platinum geth or Cerb or the vanilla human.

Will Think it over a few Days Before making the attempt.

It's time to try a new map also, Jade might be an option - but man don't want wave 10 devices on that map

Both are incredibly good for soloing and just awesome overall. I'm one of the rare ones who takes area scan on rank 6 of Tactical Scan to give a momentary wallhax since I'll generally have grenade gear equipped. As for the GE...well Hunter Mode so nuff said.

Also, I have never tried it, but I'd have to think Wraith GE and/or FQE could be legitimately soloable. (<--that's not a word)

 

GE has to be among the top candidates b/c lolHunter Mode. Oh! Redeemer GE. This is the answer you've been looking for.

Aside from the turian, which is always my favorite, the Human Engineer is a fun choice, and IMO one of the most versatile engineers. 

 

Salarian Engineer is also pretty fun. Energy drain makes him super capable of withstanding the endless barrage of bullshit that is geth platinum, in particular.

Is this gold or plat? If the former, a QFE with just about any weapon and Incendiaries will decimate Reapers and Collectors with ruthless efficiency. If the latter, I'd suggest Collecturds because they have less motherfucking geth to deal with. Bonus points for not bringing a lolcolyte, instead using your turret and Raw Accuracy™ to deal with fantums and boss barriers. Bonus Bonus style points for using a Claymoar.

HE is fun, Demolisher is lulzy.

SE is boring IMO, and trolling geth is not enough fun for me and not enough to survive a plat solo

Salarian would probably be easiest because of energy drain, but human engineer is more fun imo. Human engineer can absolutely rip geth to shreds by cc'ing with a suicide drone while alternating incinerate/overload provides endless explosions. Much like the salarian decoy, every single geth unit falls for the combat drone. The best thing about the drone is that as long as you have a targeting box on the enemy you can toss it right on top of them regardless of their distance or line of sight.

 

One of my favorite things to do is to toss a drone next to a prime then start pummeling the prime with incinerates. The prime will turn around and blow up the drone which detonates and causes a fire explosion on the prime. So satisfying.

Geth with wraith and scorpion vs geth. Dis ammo for endless techbursting, the primes will do litle more then respawning their pets, that keeps dying to the techburst/overload.

 

Atleast i enjoyed it.

I agree with DisturbedPsic0. Volus engi specced for double debuff is super mega fun. Do it!!
