I just LOVE the vanilla human engies. I have no idea where they get all the power from - they must be demi-gods.

One of the funniest and most difficult challenges can be the geth with the javelin, specced as a glasscanon with warp ammo : stun everything, **** the shieldgate, regenarate with the turret like a boss, make phantoms use the bubble with the turret ===> "vuit" headshot

I've done all of them on Gold, Merc on Plat as well.

I really enjoyed the Vanilla Human, Female Quarian, and the Geth Engineer. All of them are pretty decent though. I think the Vorcha took me the longest to do but I've learned a lot about the character since then.

Space wizards. They call upon the powers of electricity, fire, and magical crystal ball that shocks the bejezus out of foes.

Hehe, the Nemesis can't escape it. All those sharp shouts when being zapped make my day. It's as good as the Krogan chuckle.

I think now I will go with platinum Geth with the SE using the Adas, from what I can see there are not so many solos done with the Adas.

This will require a few attempts though :P

IDK that actually sounds like a good load out.

It may take a while though.

Yep. For a secondary, take the Talon or Hurricane. You're going to struggle hard with armor otherwise.

You should go Adas FQE instead, since she's a bit stronger against armor but is otherwise similar. That rifle compliments her power set well, especially with disruptor ammo.

I've already done it once. It did take nearly an hour, but wasn't really difficult. Adas trivializes fantums, and CB>stagger>incinerate rekts goons. Big armor burns away pretty fast with a power amp IV as well.

Knowing the bateman, be will bring smg.
Or use ir4 and melt stuff with cheese, will still take a while.

You made a good choice. The Adas is underrated as a platinum weapon, really, and has really good synergy with the SE versus Geth. Good luck!

Not necessarily, that's a pretty good setup (not for a speedrun, but the Adas staggering machine is effective to get a solo done). I would equip incendiary rounds, to help destroying Banshees' armor (since ED doesn't detonate on organics' armor, no FE on Banshees without incendiary rounds).

I will probably take the Hurricane with ULM as secondary, Incindiary IV feels like the best choice.

Hopefully Patrick will forgive me for borrowing his thread, but I don't want to make a new one, since this one is handy.

I won't be attempting plat solo, but SE versus geth sounds like a good combination for attempted gold solo. Would a build like this be good? Will I be able to make tech combos with this setup?

I'm fairly certain that the priming window for both Incinerate and ED is 3 seconds. You might be able to get natural FE's on shields, barriers and toasters due to the fact that incinerate has travel time while ED is hitscan, but you may want to take the recharge spec on ED and 4B instead of 4A in passives. For gold geth, disruptor ammo is probably a better choice as well due to AOE tech bursts every 3 seconds, and the fact that the only real big armor are the Primes (and you should nuke waves 5 and 9 anyway). I've done the same solo with Adas QFE, which sort of plays the same, and it's pretty easy because of all the stagger and CC you've access to.

Of course, this is just me making suggestions for a quarian, not some lizard with stolen quarian tech, so results may vary.

It's no problem :)

The build I have in mind (which I think will work out great also on Gold) is 6/3/6/5/6

From what I understood the Decoy gives very diminishing returns past 3 ranks, so might be more beneficial to invest on more health and shields.

I think that Tali is correct about the 3 seconds priming window, so I would make some changes : skipping the Locust, taking 4b in salarian operative, 5a (since the Adas doesn't give a damage bonus for headshots), possibly the recharge speed evos in Incinerate and ED and the ULM on the Adas. All those changes would put the cooldowns at 2,75s, so probably at a good enough level to get 6+6 fire explosions and tech burts. But you should probably make some tests first to see whether that's worth it.

As for the survival aspect,  you will be quite fragile with 750 shields. I would consider using a cyclonic 3-4, or take some extra ranks in fitness (the Decoy already does a good job at distracting Geth with only 3 ranks in it).

SE vs. Geth is one of the best gold combos IMO (aside from reegar kroguard/geth flamer type stuff). I'd recommend taking damage and capacity & power damage for passives, or at least drop the headshot bonus if you're using Adas as a primary. The locust might not even be necessary.

Also, PatrickBateman is correct about Decoy giving diminishing returns past 3. IMO in solos even a slight increase in health and shields can have a tangible (positive) effect on how certain situations play out.

Thanks for the advice, you guys :)

So, taking your advices into account, the fixed build looks something like this. Better? Or would Disruptor be a better choice over Incendiary?

^^ The only thing I would change would be taking 5a instead of 5b in Incinerate...just to keep em burning. Other than that...very solid build.  Disruptor only if you are going vs geth..IMO ...other than that...burn every thing...this is where I would insert a beavis & butthead gif "Fire,Fire!!!"

Meh, get to decoy explosion. I don't care about diminishing returns, adas is going to proc a lot of enemies and force them to cluster that and decoy will cluster them anyways. Decoy explosion gives you more damage and an extra detonator/AOE stagger. It reks their robotic anuses.

Personally I would ditch the secondary as well, incinerate will deal with most armor on gold fairly quickly. Disruptor is probably better/easier but I love me some fire explosions.

This build looks good to me. Keep incendiary rounds, as they will not overwrite your 6+6 combos on shields (contrary to disruptor, which prime on everything). Besides, the Adas has a damage bonus VS shields, so using an anti-armor ammo makes sense with this gun. And you will appreciate the incendiary glitch when it comes to destroy Primes' amor.

I do agree with Nuke about the going full spec on decoy, since you are going to be VS geth.  the shock & explode evos will destroy alot of their units..plus, since they are so stupid when it comes to drones & turrets & decoys...you can pop it right in front of them and they will focus all their attention on it..Last night I had a match vs geth on ghost  & I cant tell you how much they love to just stand around in total awe of your decoy..I only had 4 ranks into it and it made the match a cakewalk.

Yeah I forgot about that. Due to the nature of incendiary combined with fire DOT you're still getting a higher combo explosion. Disrupter will give you more stunning, would give you more combo explosion but most everything will die with one combo anyways before you get to CD to trigger another primed explosion if you're firing in the CD window.

First try, fail on wave 10 - no more solo attempts tonight.

Effective but slow, especially on the Banshee Waves.
