Crossed into Switzerland a few times on our recent trip to Chamonix (and flew into Geneva.)
Another spectacular part of the world...
SpoilerOT: Carl Sagan was awesome! Not sure "Invisible Dragon Age" would work too well as a game, though.
OMG you get around dude.
Your passport must have all the stamps. ALL. THE. STAMPS.
Also, I went to Mexico on my honeymoon. To Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. Fabulous. Get to Tulum if you've not yet been.
Thankfully, I've yet to encounter a ringwraith while out in the woods!
Usually some mountain or valley is the go-to pic for NZ, I'm too Elfy for that

I wish... Mexico is where we go most to visit my wife's family. I've also been France and Belgium a lot, especially as a kid, and to a lesser extent, Spain, I've spent a day here and there in Italy, Switzerland and Germany, but I've not travelled nearly as widely as I'd like. Being an EU resident I only have stamps from Mexico...
Tulúm, You say? Yeah it's beautiful. ![]()

I studied abroad in Edinburgh, and LOVED the place. The people were kind, friendly, smart, and fun. I miss the nature surrounding the city, the highland oatcakes, and the accents... as well as 100 other things. They also do some pretty impactful science there.
I was born in Bulgaria and live in the US.
Yeah, I live in Edinburgh at the moment though I'm originally from the west coast in Ayrshire. We're like every other country in the world. We've got some really brilliant people doing great things and then some total nutters that mess everything else up. Still, I wouldn't want to be from anywhere else. Bulgaria is gorgeous, well what I saw of it. Went to Sofia on holiday years ago and it was beautiful (and warm, which was heavenly).

Šalingrad! Hehe...
Hmmm... Once upon a time there was a country called Czechoslovakia and there was a city (or town) Gottwaldov, named after a communist president. Now it's called Czech Republic and Zlín... (can a pesident be considered an icon?)
Oh, yeah. Don't get me started on the First Republic.
And Thomas Garrigue Masaryk. The Father of the Republic. (Alright, there were several "Men of October 28th", but he's the first Czechoslovak president - and the last good one, as far as I'm concerned)
