I would very much like this, especially since this game will most likely have a ton of different weapons to choose from, most of which you'd be collecting throughout the game. I like having my ME3 save where Shepard has the full arsenal, with all the favorites maxed out. That, and all the armor as well.

I would prefer a very different design philosophy where you are given a suite of weapons at the beginning, and then awarded research points as you leveled up to modify them as you saw fit, whether more damage per shot, larger clip size, less weight, less muzzle climb, faster RoF, etc. I very much believe leveling weapons and armor should be seen as integral to character progression as leveling powers.

I dunno if I'd like to be stuck with a small set of weapons that we have to modify throughout the game. I very much prefer ME3's method of giving us a bunch of different weapons, many of which I thought were a lot of fun to play with. That, and I enjoyed that each companion could have a loadout that was totally unique among the group. I don't mind being able to modify the gun and such, but I would prefer that this be a tweak over the gunicopia.
In any case, the game is going to have to give us a variety of weapons anyway, because multiplayer demands it. MP players are probably not going to be happy with this kind of design philosophy, and it wouldn't make sense to have the wide variety of weapons in MP and not have them exist in SP.

Yes yes YES! I sure hope so. I really enjoyed replaying the trilogy with a previous character who was already maxed out; I upped the difficulty level and just had a blast. If only DAI had had this I might've played the game more than twice, but I'd rather shoot myself than stomp through a million different maps all over again.

Here here! NG+ is always appreciated, and goes a long way to increasing replay value.

It is my own personal belief that every RPG should have a New Game Plus mode. I was actually very disappointed that Inquisition continued the Dragon Age tradition of not having it. More often than not, you spend your first playthrough figuring out the game, figuring out the best way to level up your character, and finding that armor look and weapon loadout that works best for you. Once you finally have a character that you're truly happy with, BAM! Credits roll.
I like New Game Plus primarily because it allows me to fully enjoy my own homemade badassery to the fullest extent.

ME3's NG+ was too restricting, only tracking the progress of a single career. I've never seen a real benefit of playing the same character twice. New playthroughs usually go with different class, VA, character set for me.

NG+ would definitely have to be in ME:A, don't see why they'd do without it.

I never really used it but sure, why not. I'd like it though that we cannot reach max level in one playthrough in that case then, so that we can still develop the character further during NG+

Dragon Age: Inquisition's design basically eliminated any chance of NG+ because enemies didn't scale, unlike all the Mass Effect games. Which is why I hope there aren't static levels in Mass Effect: Andromeda for if there are I doubt there will be a NG+.

That statement makes no sense to me. Enemies do not need to scale for a NG+ feature. A few examples. Final fantasy type 0, Parasite Eve, Tales of Vesperia and Persona 4.
As for the NG+ feature. I'm most assuredly for it though I prefer if difficulty is left up to the player with no auto scaling.

Hopefully NG+ is actually difficult this time around.

Exactly what I was thinking. At least buff up enemy health and shields by 5% per difficulty level when starting a game+.

If you want difficulty, you shouldn't be playing BioWare games, period.

That's fake difficulty.

I don't disagree, but it would be better than nothing, cause NG+ takes something that is already too easy and makes it ridiculously so. And I'm by no means any kind of master gamer.

NG+ was never really about difficulty, since having your full-spec'd powers and weapons automatically made the game a bit lot easier. The game should just have good level of difficulty right out the gate. I don't think NG+ should be the gate to unlocking it.
