Okay, so, I only started playing Mass Effect after the release of Mass Effect 3- 2013 basically.

Recently however, I found that there was a promotional event that allowed you to unlock special armour pieces like the Sentry Interface, Umbra Visor, etc.

I wasn't playing at the time. I didn't even know about the franchise to be quite honest.

I was wondering if it were possible to still get these? Would EA/Bioware ever allow us to buy this as an additional dlc? The Sentry Interface is all I use in Mass Effect 3 because it just looks awesome and it would be really great to have that reflected in my Mass Effect 2 playthrough :c

My understanding is that that promotional stuff comes with the PS3 version of the trilogy package. For the xbox you cannot get those items. There may be a way to get them for the PC through some modding.

I picked up the franchise pretty late, as well, so I missed these, too. No matter how hard I tried, I didn't manage to find any proper way to get those as they were connected with some temporary promotion by Dr Pepper and all the sites that allowed you to get them are down already. (Hell, my country doesn't even sell Dr Pepper.) That was the situation while I was looking several weeks back. I'm on PC. I even checked the Coalesced.bin and found out it's likely you truly need to install the stuff and it's not just a matter of unlocking it, I don't think. (Somebody correct me?)

I have no idea why they didn't release it for free download or something. It's been years. Heck, I'd even pay for it. (I love the Sentry Interface, too.)

You *might* be able to add those in ME2 with the Gibbed ME2 save editor. I stress might because, as Vanilka said, it might actually not be in the original files or on disc. Then, you'd have to hunt down the exact number for the bool variables. It's probably a long shot.

I love the way it looks, I just wonder if it actually works. I bought one equipment pack that had the Archon Visor specifically because I wanted the +5% cool down bonus. I found out later it doesn't actually work. What a waste of money.

Me, too! Although I don't think it would be very practical in real life. I mean, you have blue scribbles all over your eyes.  But, hey, who wouldn't compromise their vision to look awesome? (BioWare, we need you! We have image to maintain here!)

Spoiler

Hrm, I don't have that DLC. Damn, that sucks. That's actually pretty lame since it's a paid DLC with just that. Not cool. I wonder whether it's possible to fix that in some way. I mean, there might be something for the PC version, but I guess platforms are out of luck.

Gibbed, huh? I've never thought of that. I'll try looking into it later. Well, I have tried to check but I'm inexperienced with this sort of editing and I don't know what I'm looking for, so I need to learn it first. Good idea, though. I'm not very optimistic since I was very thorough with my search and nothing of that sort ever popped up, but it's worth a shot.

If you are into modding, Miranda's visor from her alternate appearance pack looks very similar to the Sentry Interface. There would probably be a way to duplicate that on Shepard.
