Capable of virtually solo'ing nightmare? And DEFINETELY perilous. At level 13? Someone explain this class to me. I'm about 15-16 NM games in after just returning to DaMP, and the way people are running this class make the geth juggernaut and legionairre look obsolete in terms of tanking. The thing is, i've been watching this class all day today, and i've not run ONE nm with a level 16+ one yet so i can only IMAGINE. It seems like they have guard up 24-7, hold all the aggro, and nearly always almost top score my elementalist, maybe underscoring by a mere hundred points, if not scoring MORE , And my stats are pretty up there aswell. Another thing to note is i've not actually seen one downed yet lol, is this stat related or is the class REALLY that good? If it's stat related, iuno.. Cause this was quite a few DIFFERENT people running it and im sure they werent ALL totally OP statwise. Last thing, all of those different 6 - 7 people were running what seemed like the same build, or atleast playing the same type of way, just in the middle of everything attacking headon, not even really caring about backstabs. I unlocked the character just to look at it's tree and try to pinpoint the power source, and nothing really pokes out like woah!! Then again, i'm a mage player not rogue or warrior so i wouldn't know. Maybe i'm missing something that everybody knows? WHY CAN A WARRIOR\ROGUE SOLO NM?!?!

There are those with enough promotions that can solo NM at lvl 1 with other characters.

Point i'm making is i don't think it's just promotions bud, i think we've got another AW on our hands , there's no way every person that uses it has high stats, but everyone ive seen with it can surely carry a team with it.

NOT TRUE...Tell me who can, not one of the top player will say they can SOLO NM with Level 1

Honestly where do you get these absurd information?

If you take the right abilities and passives she's a beast by level 10, but you still need to know how to play her. I'm only at around 20ish promotions on each stat so I'm pretty much a glass cannon if the team doesn't mop up archers and mages pretty quick. Any ranged attack can wipe my guard and a bunch of health in 2 or 3 shots, and her skills are only really op when you got high enough crit chance since it means you can cycle abilities nearly non stop. Its a good run and fun class for people who aren't near God status from promotions and is fun to play, the other dual wield classes are far to squishy for that play style.

Bro, take it easy. She isn't as op as you think she is and I've seen plenty of them go down in pugs, contrast to a few months ago when aw's were the only viable tanking/dps/support kit for players at higher difficulties, but now people have a choice not to choose just one uber class to do well. Face it, ham talk and spirit blade gets boring fast but a midget dwarf charging into an angry pack of brutes never does.

Cillian had his time in the sun, now let lil Elvis have her moment in the light. A lot of players were asking for viable tanking classes outside of Lego and AW for higher difficulties and we got another one.

Btw, I'm still waiting for the silent sister heartbreaker solo run on the old maps with minimal number of promotions, to show us all how game breaking she really is.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the introduction of silent sister we wouldn't be seeing half the number of players in nightmare pugs. I find it easier now after the last update to have rooms full of people playing perhaps above their level due to this class but I'd rather have that than being forced to solo up till zone 4-5 on fc.

I'm a casual and the thing that i really enjoy about Pala is that she is pretty much set up with guard from level 1. I'm at 14/14/14 promotes and have only one level 24 weapon (bow). Neither of my daggers are over 100 damage. Until SS was introduced I could only play perilous with my lego. Being able to charge into the thick of things AND SURVIVE makes me very happy in my pants. If nothing else, the class is a great confidence booster for us scrubs.

Ive watched Medallion do it from the fade before and he is a terrible player mechanics wise.  He just has the gear and hundreds of promotions in each stat to make the game cake when he even pays a little attention.

OP, I never run into problems with her on Perilous, and Guard is almost always topped out. My promotions are around 35/28/28, nothing special.

For her, the two main guard generators are what I always use. "To The Death" and, of course, "Charging Bull." Basically, the same two things I've always used for Katari, to be less squishy. For Pala, however, who seems hardier than Katari at the base level already, these two guard-generating abilities makes her even tougher to bring down.

Charging Bull can take down groups, knocks down aggressive foes to help allies in a crisis, and is a good sort of "evasive" move as well (and still building guard). No matter what situation or purpose, guard is being built. And if it's lost......

Then "To The Death" is another vital piece. I like using it as a "1 v 1" contest against tough brutes or bosses. They get stronger, but so do I. They deal more damage, but so do I. They lose health, and so do I, but only if my guard is all gone. And that's where To The Death helps so much, because each hit I give builds my guard up, and I'm back to near max guard in no time, while the opponent loses the contest because they are obviously losing health faster than me.

And if it turns out my 1 v 1 contest is getting more than I can handle, and I'm getting overwhelmed from every side and taking damage too fast, I go right back to Charging Bull and get out of dodge. With Pala, it's like you're building extra credit on top of extra credit with guard, and her attack animations are way faster than Katari or Avaar's slower attacks.

3 people in the party dead near the start of the zone on room 4 of FC.  We were all lvl 1s after promoting . 1 person, Medallion at lvl 1 on his reaver cleared the way to the next door.  He was half paying attention which is probably twice as much as usual.

I see. So team of 4 ... Medaligod + 3 x level 1's in NM.

Due to God's stats he will probably be one of a handful of players that can do this. And I take it that he carried the rest of you through .... great team achievement!

Low promoted players are using the SS to NM runs it's a fact , I can't count how many times I was surrounded by 3 of those tiny things when going FC to promote my Warrior or Mage ,  she put on shame Lego , Templar and Katari , the good thing is , those players have higher chances to survive with her than if they were using any of the 3 chars mentioned previously.

I have to admit that being followed by 3 SS can be funny sometimes .

It's stat related.  Critical chance is a huge factor with flow of battle.

Hakkon and Savage Thorn are also big factors.

I have seen plenty of Silent Sisters in the fade on Perilous, nevermind Nightmare.

A good Lego with Counterstrike, Unbowed, Walking Fortress, ShieldBash can keep threat all day long and let lesser promoted players fight away til their hearts content.

No way Lego is obsolete.  I still think in terms of "team game".  Sure solo can be interesting if you want a different kind of challenge but is way slower and tedious.

That's pretty harsh.  You should show more respect and a little appreciation for someone who carried you.

I was able to solo Perilous no prob at lvl 15 yesterday. It was on the Chateau w/Demons. Respect at lvl 13. Changed Flashing Steel to Spinning Blades.I think these 2 abilities have def pros and cons depending on enemy. I'm not too crazy about Death Blow either. I will have to change back to Flashing Steel and retry Perilous again at lvl 15. Hope its Demons again so I can make a good comparison to fit my play style. My stats are all just barely over 100.

Want to try her in NM at about 15 with a decent group. I can contribute a good bit in NM , as for carrying, I'm not even close yet.

He did a zone, that is not a entire game soloed. BIG difference.

I have a l2p issue with the SS. I can do fine on NM with Reaver, Lego, Archer even (provided some barrier), Izzy, Ele, Keeper, Virtuoso, Templar, etc. (have troubles with Assassin, Alchemist and Necro too) but SS seems to go really bad for me! By which I mean I die. Maybe I should tweak a build... because it's strange that the easiest class according to most people is the hardest for me.

This. Someone on the leaderboard soloed NM half way through zone 4 with a lv1 sister, then two of us joined with lv1s as well to leech the loot and xp  B)

I'll wager I have seen a lot more people sink into the fade than you have seen successful with SS

but at the end of the day we have only "seen" a fraction of the playerbase

I think it comes from SS being the new character and everyone trying her out at the moment.   Isabella was the same (another awesome character)
