yep she is great but does have limits      my cunning is my low stat so she is my work horse for that stat but she has limits

Bro, take it easy. She isn't as op as you think she is and I've seen plenty of them go down in pugs, contrast to a few months ago when aw's were the only viable tanking/dps/support kit for players at higher difficulties, but now people have a choice not to choose just one uber class to do well. Face it, ham talk and spirit blade gets boring fast but a midget dwarf charging into an angry pack of brutes never does.

Cillian had his time in the sun, now let lil Elvis have her moment in the light. A lot of players were asking for viable tanking classes outside of Lego and AW for higher difficulties and we got another one.

Btw, I'm still waiting for the silent sister heartbreaker solo run on the old maps with minimal number of promotions, to show us all how game breaking she really is.

Hahaa, funny you should say that. I'll bet you a dollar it's one of the first classes that gets it done, actually. Not gamebreaking at all, it's just a really good class.

That's pretty harsh.  You should show more respect and a little appreciation for someone who carried you.

Half carried. At lvl 1 yes. We would get through the map with most of us being dead most of the time, then level up and we would clear it with him afk most of the time.  He would occasionally show up and kill a few things in 2 or 3 shots then sit there for a while as we carried him along. Then we would all get to 20, promote and he would carry us along again. While it was appreciated, I am just being honest.  Watching his play style there is so much he could be doing better, he just doesn't have to because of the absurd number of promotions he has.

Ive watched Medallion do it from the fade before and he is a terrible player mechanics wise.  He just has the gear and hundreds of promotions in each stat to make the game cake when he even pays a little attention. 

 

He should tape that.  I've seen him die a couple of times on NM as a Level 11 Reaver on FC before even clearing the first wave.

When he pays attention it is a sight to behold. Sadly that is not the case most of the time.

There isn't a perfect nm build, ss abilities allow her to contribute with some leeway as to chosen abilities because most of them generate guard. Her only negative which prevents her from being op are shield bearers which is manageable with parry and combat roll but still slows down her overall dps.

As you know was running with ruggie yesterday. Party Chat was a hoot. Glad you guys finally made the jump to light speed. LOL

 

Any way I ran the Silent Mister . . oops, I mean Sister on NM at 17 I think . I've changed my mind about Death Blow. Never used it before but warmed up to it the first NM run I did with her. For now I think I'll keep Spinning Blades w/Hidden Blades also. Your right, even where I currently  am stats wise shes a riot. She's like the EverReady bunny when shes charging. If you don't hit sompin quick, she just keeps gonig and going and going. . .  Shes so fast its gonna take a few more run thrus to learn how to drive that cray cray Sister. LOL

 

Was pointed out to me she kinda looks like Elvis with those chops. My new nick name for her, Lil' Elvira.

Capable of virtually solo'ing nightmare? And DEFINETELY perilous. At level 13? Someone explain this class to me. I'm about 15-16 NM games in after just returning to DaMP, and the way people are running this class make the geth juggernaut and legionairre look obsolete in terms of tanking. The thing is, i've been watching this class all day today, and i've not run ONE nm with a level 16+ one yet so i can only IMAGINE. It seems like they have guard up 24-7, hold all the aggro, and nearly always almost top score my elementalist, maybe underscoring by a mere hundred points, if not scoring MORE , And my stats are pretty up there aswell. Another thing to note is i've not actually seen one downed yet lol, is this stat related or is the class REALLY that good? If it's stat related, iuno.. Cause this was quite a few DIFFERENT people running it and im sure they werent ALL totally OP statwise. Last thing, all of those different 6 - 7 people were running what seemed like the same build, or atleast playing the same type of way, just in the middle of everything attacking headon, not even really caring about backstabs. I unlocked the character just to look at it's tree and try to pinpoint the power source, and nothing really pokes out like woah!! Then again, i'm a mage player not rogue or warrior so i wouldn't know. Maybe i'm missing something that everybody knows? WHY CAN A WARRIOR\ROGUE SOLO NM?!?!

Have you tried to solo with her against the venatori or RT when the zone has 12 shield guys?

I kinda have mixed feelings about death blow myself. I got a death blow ability ring so I finally gave it a shot and it seems to have like no cool down 7 out of 10 times I hit with it. I can run into a group and just spam death blow knowing it hit because I get the second animation but then having it instantly become available. Not sure if it's a glitch or if maybe hitting crit on both shots is enough to reset cool down, but it's nice. On the other hand, (pun intended) I use audacity in my off hand for the proc and feel I'm wasting damage output by not using flashing steel. Maybe I just need a savage thorn for my off hand, then I can just stay in guard and no cool down the entire match.

That's because Deathblow has no cooldown if you kill the enemy with it. The "no cooldown" should be applied only if you have the upgrade, but it's been known for months that it's applied without the upgrade nonetheless. The upgrade is still useful as it gives you 100% Damage Bonus on both strikes, meaning 100% on the first strike and if a second strike occurs then that one too gets the 100% bonus.

So no, it's not a glitch on Deathblow's part and it has nothing to do with Critical Hits or Opportunity Knocks. It's really a feature from the skill, you kill with it, you don't have a cooldown. And that's why it's so good in groups of enemies...

Ahh that makes sense, I guess it is worth it to swap out audacity for more dmg then, gonna have to give it a shot. No cool down on kill makes a huge difference
