So what I found - I just disable origin in game. And I received less crash than before. Before I crash like 2-4 time per 2 hours gameplay.

I disabled Origin in-game and it will still crash occasionally.  Unfortunately it's no panacea.  Plus you can't invite friends, not that I have any, into the game.

Game crash is perfectly normal. Honest.

Working as intended, jokes aside, I've been dealing with those random crash since I bought the game back in January, they most likely will never patch those but it's been way worse since last weekend, I crashed 7 games in a row, one of them was oh so comical, I crashed, started the game again, not even 10 seconds into a game and crashed again.

Yes, last weekend was very bad, I had a reasonably stable time for the last 2 weeks.

Er, what?  Alt-tab and invite them from the friends list.

Also experienced a huge spike in crashes last night on PC. Might get 1-2 per night usually but last night it was like 2-3 restarts ->play one -> 2-3 restarts-> repeat

I had this issue for a while now, usually it was like once or twice per day nothing major today I had like 5 in 30 minutes or so can't complete a single operation. It is worth saying that most of these were against the darkspawn faction if that means anything at all.

For the multiplayer part had some hours without crashing while avoiding Darkspawn matches. It would appear it has something to do with it but I will test it further.

EDIT So after 4 hours without a crash while avoiding Darkspawn operations, I decided to stay in one to see what happens. Well it crashed again, dunno if it is just me or something but I definitely seem to have troubles with the Darkspawn faction.

Also kind of boring with dark screen when start new game. It's just freeze on loading black screen, you hear voice from the game but nothing happens just black screen infinite loading(

if you have an asus mobo then you have a 50% chance the problem is the realtek 8xxx network controller, so your best bet would be to go to the realtek website and download the latest version of the driver (asus is normally a few years out of date) and that might fix half the problem your experiencing.

also check event viewer for notifications immediately after a crash, I often find I have several hundred ati.ace notifications logged immediately before the crash, I did disable logging that info before and it stopped me having any crashes for a while but every time there is a game update or a driver update or a windows update (and there seems to be something every other day) you have to re-do it until the problem gets resolved (but it likely wont as most people have stopped actively supporting windows 8/8.1 since 10 was released ..)

i'm just waiting another few weeks before I upgrade to w10 for the drivers for a few more things to get released and then I can kiss goodbye to w8 and hopefully do a clean install at the same time so I get rid of all the buggy junk that's accumulated over the last few years :)

My game also crashes against darkspawn matches. Can't complete a single one unless I somehow manage to enter when the last enemy is being killed. Otherwise about 5 minutes in my game will CTD.

I was going to disable Origin to solve this problem, but when I tried, my XBone gave me the finger and laughed.

I know nothing about console problems, but if playing on PC, be sure you're not using a modded game file. If you play single player and you use mods, you should have two files - one modded and one original (you need to manually save an original backup) - the original for playing multiplayer. If you mod, you know what I'm talking about. Also, if you have a low/mid tier video card, you should probably run the game in windowed fullscreen and on medium settings. Origin in game has nothing to do with your crashes.

Am running SLI gigabyte G1 970s @2160p and found turning graphic settings from high to medium has improved stability more than anything else I've tried.. appears to be graphic card memory leak with draw distance , perhaps a look at optimizing code to avoid overloading resources would help but doubt it will be looked into this late in the game.. doesn't matter if your running ATI or Nvidia the issue is in the coding..

Even if I may look stupid but how could windowed fullscreen help there?

The game seems to have a memory problem that EA won't address.

It was something I tried a while back that was suggested. I don't know if it helps or not, just passing it along. However, I was crashing like crazy just like everyone else when the Darkspawn was released. I forgot I had been playing SP and was using a couple mods. I forgot to change the modded file back to the original. I did, and the crashes stopped completely. Also, I just popped in a 980 Ti and was also able to play for 2-3 hours in Ultra settings without a crash. I wonder if video memory has anything to do with it...my old card had 3GB, whereas my new one has 6. I couldn't run my old card on anything higher than medium for DAMP. Any higher and crashes would resume. I haven't used a utility to monitor graphic memory usage yet. Maybe someone can chime in?

I am on PC, and Origin has an update tonight.  After that, I crash to desktop (no error) after every match!   Pretty much as soon as the match is over... DAI just closed.   I did have to uninstall and reinstall Origin because the update causes some kind of missing dll files.

One more thing, be sure to 'repair game' in Origin and when you're done, go to the patch folder in DAI, find 'package.mft', open it in notepad, and change the patch # to 12.

Firstly congrats on the sweet upgrade, as you mentioned there appears to be a memory issue where resources get overloaded which causes instant CTD .. my cards (970s) are 4GB technically but as alot are aware 970s have 3.5GB of ddr5 and then another .5GB of slower separate memory .. have also found using medium settings to provide best stability @2160p .. am not surprised your 6GB 980 ti has greatly improved stabilty..
