So, I have been on sabbatical from DA in general for a few months and came back to pay a bit of DAMP.... I now have some Virtuoso(sp?) class..... what is this strange new class?! It looks like a complete support class with very unique skills, which is pretty neat, but how does one successfully utilize him?

The easiest way to play him is do Cold Cold Cold and spam barrier. You can do this from level 1 and apart from the very real possibility you may fall asleep, you can cheese through any difficulty as long as people stand close to you and still be incredibly helpful for your party.

 

I usually play him with Cool Beats and Little Knight Music (take encore and killer set). Cool Beats is a DoT that also has a small stacking AOE DoT. If you see a huge cluster and just hit each mob with CB and watch them all drop within a few seconds. its great because you can run and gun and no spells have a cool down. Just hit them, run away and re apply the DoT as needed. Use LKM for extra armor while things die. Auto attack to do massive damage with killer set and then proc encore to get more free spells.

 

I have also seem people tear up with PowerChord spam as it does massive damage in an AOE, however I would recommend this for people with high cunning and Constitution as any time I try it, I end up getting killed because I can't kill as fast as I get killed.
