Is Voice Casting delayed?

"This week, he let slip that the voice actors for the game still haven’t been hired. He also said that Bioware was getting pretty close to pulling the trigger on that move. This surprised at least one Twitter user, who asked if that was a sign that development had been delayed and the release window should be pushed back to something beyond 2016. Wynn quickly put those concerns to rest, replying that this was all according to plan. "

Has anyone suggested Lennie James, yet?  His natural speaking voice (not his American accent) is fantastic.  I could listen to him all day long.

Oh, I adore many voices, but for now I'll just say Crispin flippin' Freeman as he deserves more major parts in video games instead of voicing faceless NPCs all the time.

As long as she sings to us. =]

Who do you mean by "the Boss"? The only character that comes to my mind is The Boss/Joy from MGS3: Snake Eater, but Laura Bailey wasn't her VA. That was Lori Alan, who has a lovely voice, and I wouldn't mind if she made an appearance in Andromeda.

I don't want any of the big names from the previous games. It gets old hearing the same people over and over again. this is supposed to be a fresh non-shepard start so let's go for that.

With that said, a couple of suggestions I saw above that i liked were David Tennant (yes!) and Ewan McGregor... how about this - Nathan Filion - He was in Serenity/Firefly and also is Castle now.

The female protag is harder...no ideas on that at all.

S/he means the female version of the Saint's Row protagonist, who is voiced by Laura Bailey (if you choose that voice)

Keegan-Michael Key for random characters you encounter in Andromeda.

Jordan Peele for random aliens you met in local taverns.

Mark Hamill somewhere ... since he seems to have voice-acted just about everything at one time or another. *shrugs*

Imagine him as the main villain or a TIM-like figure... It would be awesome.

I've always wanted a bad guy voiced by Chris Cooper (even more after the Muppets) but I guess that would be hard to get.

He's been in a Bioware game before. As a lesser villain. He's done a fair amount of work voice acting too. Be cool to hear him in a game, but I'm not sure the demands of being the player character's voice would fit his style. They could probably match him pretty well this time around.

Garrus's VA actually wouldn't be bad; without the voice altering tech on his voice, he wouldn't recognizable as Garrus, and I think he has a nice voice.

He is recognisable as Garrus though, he noticeably sounds like Garrus in this ad -

Steve Blum better voice for that one romanceable krogan.

Imagine if he was a romanceable krogan who sounded more like Oghren than Grunt...

Saren was voiced by Fred Tatasciore. Alistair Duncan did voice a Turian, but he was everyone's favorite air quoting Councilor.

He also voiced a certain Turian spectre who let his guard down around Saren

Benedict Cumberbatch would be a dream but also an unrealistic one i suppose.

Sean Bean as well would be nice.

but those are a-listers so idk.

Would love my gals Claudia Black and Laura Bailey though.

Claudia Black could read the KFC menu and turn it into an enthralling performance. She's got my vote.

Whenever I hear him in ME2 say "That thing is NOT Krogan!" I also hear Worf saying "You are NOT Feklar!"

Whoever explains the most important thing in the story that character must be voiced by Morgan Freeman.
