When playing with your friends, are you not a grumble of pugs?

I believe the progression goes like this:

PUG -> BSNer -> Platinum Spectre -> Spectre -> Spectre douchebag

I notice all this pug stuff get posted and what not, and people tend to suggest that pugs suffer from a lack of skill by default, which doesn't make much sense to me?

So, I was kind of wondering if you consider yourself and fiends you play with to be pugs from the pug's point of view.

Or am I just not getting the vocabulary of ME3MP?

I think it's important to consider the effects of elitism in ME3MP so as to not alienate players. Everyone should be able to feel safe and relaxed while playing this awesome multiplayer.

Also, does anyone have a use for sabotage on the Quarian marksman?

Yep... sadly, sometimes (not always, but sometimes), the reason you aren't  able to feel relaxed while playing this awesome multiplayer are the people you're playing with.

Sometimes they are newbies, so it's ok, it's part of the learning curve for everyone... you struggle with them and you even enjoy it. It's like watching a toddler running for the first time...

But sometimes they're just aggravating fools: they know (or should know) better. They know who you're and what you're doing with that kit, and they're there to stop you from feeling everything but frustration. How to recognize people like that? For me it's simple: without them, the game become easier (and this has nothing to do with the scoreboard).
Pugs are pugs: not good, nor bad per se... among them, sometimes, there are bad apples. That kind of fools hog all the attention because the rest of the puggers are seldom as memorable as them, imo: happiness washes away after a while, but the rage remains.

Or at least, for me it's simple as that.

Or maybe, I'm an elitist jerk too

I love Pugs! Thank you all you Pugs for the hundreds (thousands?) of hours of time played with me!

You are welcome

I think it is a fact that the skill-level of "the average PUG Player" is lower than the one of an average BSN'er.
This is just because the forum is visited by people who are truly dedicated to this game and want to understand and make use
of every game mechanic.

However, I love games with PUGs when you are really challenged and must be "on the point"
if you want to guarantee the successful extraction.

When you play with "high-level BSNers ;) the extraction is guaranteed and you are just
wondering whether it will take 15 min or 16 min.

Also, its fun to help PUGs with questions. For example, it happens often that I encounter people who
don't know things like reload cancelling etc. - it even happened often that they didn't know the TC-cooldown-cheese.
Telling them means changing their whole playing-experience which can be a nice feeling.

Besides, every PUG-player could become a good friend sometime (something that happened very often to me)
One more reason to play with them ;)

also: when you play in a weaker PUG you get to use things like sentry turrets (and other fun but slow powers or combos) properly which I really appreciate.
