It was previously said by BW to keep our saves but to what end, nobody (even them probably) really knows.  So...

 

The Andromeda team do their thang and gain support around the new galaxy (Reapers are coming for everyone, man!), activate relays to return to the Milky Way, bring a massive fleet with them, Refuse wins, my lovely asari who engineered the journey (by some theories) are absolved.  FU Reapers/Catalyst/Crucible/Citadel/whatever.

 

However, if you did choose an AI's flawed solution, tough, you're stuck with it.  

 

Edit: if the galaxy was assimilated, that'd be interesting for the returning heroes...

It was for the DLC, they didn't bring the Dragon age 2 save for new console (i don't know if it count the old consoles too), if they choose to bring past choices for Andromeda would be something like Mass Effect history data base (Dragon Age keep).

Maybe the Mass Effect version of the Dragon Age Keep can read the save files of Mass Effect 3 and see what choices you made and applies them to a world state, like Dragon Age Keep does with Dragon Age: Inquisition.

What if, by using the same wormhole we took to andromeda, we go back in it and return to the Milky Way a second after we left.

We'll be back just before Shepard gets to the crucible, and are able to destroy the Reapers with fancy Andromeda technology.

I'd prefer that the consequences of your ME3 choices are felt.

 

Andromeda Team: "We're back!  Hey, where's all the Geth?"

Combined Fleet: "Umm... well... you see... we're not sure..."

 

Andromeda Team: "We're back!  You all look... different..."

Combined Fleet: "Ewww.  Fleshy things."
