Based on current evidence: I will pre-order the fanciest edition, and on release day I will be stationed outside my local game store at 8:55am with a coffee in one hand a Danish in the other, internally screaming 'GIVE ME MY GAME!!!' This is where I've been for the past three game launches, and I haven't regretted it yet.
Hypothetically that could change if they take DA4 in a direction that doesn't enthuse me. (That would probably take getting rid of the pause function and/or the fully-controllable party, though, and I don't think either of those things is particularly likely to happen.)

Inclined to say yes, but it depends on the what I see pre-launch. The deal breaker on pre-orders for me at the moment is race choice, if it's another Hawke/human-only protagonist I will be waiting for it to hit the bargain bin.

After ME3, no, I will never pre-order anything from EA/BioWare again.

Yeah, I'll pre-order it. I'll be picking up day one anyway. I see no reason why I shouldn't pre-order it, and any extra goodies isn't something I'm going to knock. Wasn't entirely please with DA:I, but I can understand the reasons why it didn't exactly come out how a lot of people expected, and I'm prepared to give BioWare another chance with it. (Not including Mass Effect - so far, that series hasn't disappointed me so I have no reason to even doubt picking up Andromeda)

After Bioware purposely leaving last gen in the dark by never telling the last gen fans anything at all and then choosing to charge them the same price for the same game, yet cutting support for those games on top of the the way DAI was as far as the story goes and things. I am done with the DA series as a whole. I will never buy another one.
I will still play with my friends on ME:A and I will buy ME:A, but that game and any Bioware game I ever buy in the future will be used. I won't be supporting them anymore. I will treat Bioware as good as they treat me and other fans of their games.

Na, I think I'll wait until the reviews are out for it first. I didn't hate DA:I, but it wasn't what I was expecting either after closely following it's development. I'm a fan of the series and setting, which is probably the only reason why I keep coming back. I really hope they move away from the mmo fetch quests and other pointless junk filler to flitter away my time. If I want to endlessly grind through a game, I'll go back to Everquest as at least I can do it with friends. Running around a map, killing x amount of baddies for y amount of stuff, silently praying to hear a couple of words out of my party to make a few seconds of it interesting, is just really sad imo.

I've clocked more hours on DA:I then DAo/DA2 combined according to Origin and Steam so yeah, preordering DA4 if it gets made, since I'll get it the release day anyway.

I will most definitely per-order the next game and buy it day one...if there is a new one of course.

Way too early to decide. That's at least a few years from now. I'd have to wait and see what the story might be; what pre-order bonuses there are; current state of the company; the state of gaming; current economy, and my personal interest in gaming. A lot of factors that I have no knowledge of which makes it near impossible to gauge. I can say I MIGHT be persuaded to depending on these factors: a) physical media,
strong indicators of a great story, and c) reasonable prices for the game and DLC (which we are going to have, we ALL know it). Those would tip the odds in favor of a pre order.

No, seriously, I'm not such an Origins fangirl, like probably most of people here. I like when things get complicated and now we have very fragile situation on many fronts in Thedas and I also wasn't really disappointed with any BW game so far.

Lol no. Seeing as how pre release announcements and gameplay videos are 'only announcements' and not indicative of the final game, I'm never pre ordering another BW game again. Going to wait, not for the reviews but the first week threads on this board. Once I know what are the biggest lows, then I will decide whether or not I will be too bothered by them to enjoy the game.

The only game I've pre-ordered since becoming a fiscally responsible adult (a long time ago) was Star Wars: The Old Republic. Given that I still play that game, it proved a decent decision. But I had a pretty good sense of what that game would be, I had Beta tested it, and I had friends playing.
For me, there's never really a good reason to pre-order a single-player game. I'm always running a backlog of games that I was able to buy specifically because I didn't buy them on day one and picked them up at a discount by merely being patient.
In fact, from my perspective, there are so many reasons to not pre-order games these days. Pick them up later when they're (a) cheaper and/or bundled with inevitable DLC; ( b ) reviewed by major outlets and word-of-mouth; ( c ) fixed (since every game these days is plagued by launch-day bugs that sometimes take months to sort out).

It depends on the information available when the game becames available for pre-order. As things are, I consider it most likely that I'll pre-order a special edition of the next DA game but not the next ME game. As opposed to ME, DA has never disappointed me to a degree that I regretted that I bought the games afterwards.
