Wow, I always get Solas to talk her out of joining, so I get the old friend of hers.
I do too. I need all the agents I can get.

There are loot containers in the ledges between the 2nd and 3rd levels of the deep roads in the descent. You have to do a bit of jumping down and take fall damage. There's also a bloodstained cog near 2 of the containers. Not sure what possessed them to place loot like that in a place that you can only reach if you don't use the lift.
Not sure if I knew this and forgot, or just now figured it out: in JoH, confusion grenades work really well on Hakkonite spies. It's pretty funny to see them go all ninja against their fellow bad guys. ![]()
Actually, that elven girl is also shown in the end game celebratory cinematics in Skyhold, it is a nice touch.
On my current run, I just found a new area in Fallow Mire, it is a place with a bear and a chest, and a ladder with a chest. I dont understand how I did not discover that part of the map before, i laways tought I went everywhere. Also, weilquartz veins in JoH. Also, a chest below waterfalls near the bandits castle in Hinterlands.
I had Bull and Dorian together, I did not romance Bull, but flirted with Dorian, and had a romance with Cullen, when that happened then Dorian started riding " The Bull" if you get it to happen put Dorian, Bull and Sera in your party and you will hear some strange conversations.
Descent DLC spoiler (but not story related):

After the latest patch, I don't think this applies anymore because the shop now just offers a regular price. ![]()

Descent was made by Bioware Austin. Who does SWTOR. If you've ever played that, and gone datacron hunting. You learn very fast that they love platforming, and hiding things in strange places
So it was nothing new to me! I expected things to be in weird places.
Anyway... I actually just noticed that the kid you have to get a potion from in the Hinterlands (the one with the mom who has breathing issues). If you GO BACK to him after you turn the quest in to his dad. You can tell him to go back to his family, and his dad gets all weepy. Made me happy. Only found that out because I forgot to get the Solas artifact up top.
Huh, I got the scene with him but never went back to his dad.Descent was made by Bioware Austin. Who does SWTOR. If you've ever played that, and gone datacron hunting. You learn very fast that they love platforming, and hiding things in strange places

The most dumb moment of my life... Took me like 2 playthroughs to actually find viv in skyhold...
Huh, I got the scene with him but never went back to his dad.
Anyway, I recently discovered that a gold filled vault appears in the Skyhold basement near the library space, which I never found before because I never go down there. And there was a weird guy in there that started asking me trivia questions.
One of my first Inkys unlocked that. You must have picked a bunch of "connections" perks this time around. I don't remember which ones exactly were required to unlock it, but it has to do with that influence tree.
That weird guy can appear in various locations. I've found him in the rooms that become accessible after the scaffolding is removed from Vivi's area, the vault, and IIRC once in the little chantry room of the garden. Look for him three times!
*Beren makes wind noises, making you feel a bit awkward*
I never knew until 2 minutes ago that you could kill the Golden Halla in that Favor for the Dalish quest. Looting it gives you a bugged but usable Fade-Touched Material.
There's a "hidden" place under Suledin Keep. Sure, it need a glitch to be able to enter, but I'd classify it similar to the infamous tophat easter egg in Skyhold.
Also, the horn sound in Exalted plains sounded so familiar it really bugged me. Until I realized it's the same sound the reapers make when they notice you in the galaxy map in Mass Effect 3. And that there's a nod to Monty Python in the Hinterlands.
And that the multiplayer characters hang out in Skyhold. Damn I have missed a lot of small things during my playthroughs.
There's an arrow in the roof in the Skyhold garden. I believe it unlocks another codex entry, it's similar to the entries you get off of the scaffolding when Skyhold is still being repaired.
How cool!
I just finished for today, but I will check the potion guy and the halla schematics tomorrow.
Not schematic, Fade-Touched Material. I made a typing mistake.
Took me 300 hours of playing to figure out, that you can remove class restrictions for amor while crafting - using for example silverite.
2nd playthorugh I found you can have Briala, Gaspard, and Celene to all work together.
Parsons battered notebook in Emeral Graves, I always knew those torches in the lion's pavilion had to do something ! OH OH.... and that you can craft runes in Haven, after you do either the mage or templer choice,

Banter triggers every 15 minutes, I believe, but going to inventory, menu screen, ability screens etc resets the timer. as does fast travelling, possibly even hitting pause.
I've gotten all the Blackwall+Josie ones but after 14 full playthroughs (and 4 in the works) I have never gotten Bull and Dorian together. Or the full chess banter either (Solas+Bull)
I don't know that it can ever be quite that simple, unfortunately -- back in the old days of that thread where we were testing stuff, some of us (myself included) were hitting random banter spikes just after fast traveling, even.
If you get the little Librarian guy in Skyhold, he gives you a random quest to find 48 Hard in Hightown books around the Keep. I've never done that quest before so it was a nice surprise.

Where is this little dude?
You need the secrets perk that gives you bonus research XP. Then the guy shows up next to the research table; talk to him enough times, and he gives the quest.Yeah I had this quest once, don't remember how, since then I never found him again. How I get the quest?
Today, I noticed a new item which I haven't seen before (I don't know where it came from to be honest. I was in the Emprise Du Lion area completing the Imshael quest).
It's called: Andraste's Sacrifice
