Not sure how many noticed, but happens that casting DF can cause the team mate inside frozen as well with the enemies and unable to move until the DF not wearing off. 

 

Mostly happened with me when other player played with Keeper and I got immobilized within their actually helping DF.

But last time on NM against darkspawn at wave 4 when I popped DF right when a stalker just used twin fang on me we both got time frozen in my own DF. 

I assume this bug comes with the heartbreaker red templar confusion shot coding and not really intended this way.

 

 

Anyone else had similar encounter in their games?

DF has been buggy since day 1. Hasn't been fixed in 9 months, wont be fixed now. Chalk it up as 'working as intended' and move on.

the best part is the stuff that gets stuck in it and kills the unwary long after the fact as it floats there in mid-air

Weird that this thread starts now. I just had this happen for the first time to me last weekend and I have been using DF since launch almost because it was my first ability ring from RNG. It appears to only freeze a player if the enemy is connecting with a hit to that player when they "break the plane" of the "freeze end zone". In my case it was a Vente Stalkerchino Half-Caf Double Fangs into my Keeper who had just dropped the Molasses Bubble. Hmm... Coffee sounds good...

Your character is frozen in place while Twin Fangs is used on you (you can't move or use abilities), so naturally when you freeze the Stalker with DF while he locks you in place with his ability ...

 

That's the only logical explanation I can come up with.
