Hey all,

Here is a link of a comparison of my ME2 Shepard with the... approximation ME3 offers me. Now I have already finished one playthrough of ME3 with that imported Shepard (almost every conversation had me cringe at my Shep's face), and I'm aware that the character creator does not exactly represent the in-game lighting. But I took these screenshots as the differences are easily noticeable there and because it makes for a good comparison pose.

Now I wanted to do a second playthrough of ME3, this time with the DLCs, and this time I wanted to get my Shepard fixed somehow.
My problem is simply that this Shepard looks so different in the third game and I just can't live with that. :P The character creator simply lacks some things like a normal, non-hooked, non-huge nose or reasonable eyebrows, as well as a very dark brown eye colour.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? I read about the Lazarus project thing, but information about it just... stops after some time, and it seems to never have made it past the female-only WIP stage.
Would it be possible to simply port the whole head model from ME2 to ME3?

Yeah, you're not the only one with that problem. Male imports generally are a lot better than female ones (at least the males are somewhat recognisable), but not always. This is why you'll always find more info about femshep tweaking, but I'm pretty sure those tweaks are also applicable to malesheps. I found this blog entry by Sagequeen very helpful:

Thanks, I skimmed the things for now and am planning to take a more thorough look at it soon.

However, one of my main problems with the character is how afwul the selection of male noses is in ME3. Just look at the 2 side images, and that's still the closest one you can get without making it a very wide one.
