I hit the 'join game' button and literally nothing happens... Did anyone ever have the same problem?
Can not join friend's game.

Yes sometimes but is rare. I usually try to join then through the friend list and if that does not work first try to join another lobby (which I know is full) and after that full message join the lobby I intended to join first. If that still messes up which I do not think it does I restart origin.

Playing on PC.
Had an issue like this, too. Tried to join a friends game, failed "lost connection to session" then the game got stuck at loading. Only solution was Alt+F4.
Then he tried to join my game, same issue. after we both restarted the game as well as the origin client it worked to join our games.
