Question for the PS4 owners out there:

Is there a rental or streaming service that you all recommend for bringing the cost of games down? There are a lot of titles out there that I'd like to sample, e.g. Until Dawn, Fallout 4, Metal Gear, but I don't want to pay the full $60 to add them to my library. Do Playstation Now or Playstation Plus (not entirely clear on the differences between the two) grant access to new AAA releases?

Apologies in advance for the dumb question. I've been a PC gamer most of my life and only recently switched over to consoles, so I'm not that familiar with how things work on the dark side, er light side?

I don't think they really do demos anymore. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong anyone, I'm not really sure about alot of stuff  )

You'd be best off (imo) just waiting to read the reviews or maybe watch someone play a bit of it. If you still aren't convinced by then, its probably best to just not go with that game.

From what I've seen, PS Plus provides discounts to certain games and lets you get others for free, though the latter is mostly for cheaper games like Indies.  It also lets you do demos for certain games as well, but it's all very selective.  No idea about the criteria for games to get this treatment (don't have PS Plus myself), so the only real way to know for sure is to look up the games you're interested in on PS Store.

PS Now seems to be some sort of rental system for general media (games, TV shows, etc.) from what I can tell.  Don't really know anything about it for sure, though.

Redbox the game, 2 bucks a night for games. Its also alot cheaper than PS Now and you would be a fool to support that service its the only reason why PS4 probably can't run PS3 titles. Just remember to be ready to Redbox it that day because new stuff added to redbox will disappear quick, I believe if you have an account with Redbox you can set the vending to hold the item for you through the computer.

But by god don't use PSNow most of the games there are PS3 titles you can buy cheaper used than the cost of renting it.

I don't know Gamefly's policy on the new consoles, but I used it for my 360 for years and LOVED it. It saved me a ton of money in the long run.
