Minor update on the buffy server:

- Slayer Questline as good as fully implemented;

- The Bronze added to the map with music and band;

- persistent Bank added to store your money and items!

Right now we are working out most of the kinks and creating area's for the player to grind and explore. Most of the scripting been done already so most of our work will be in creating extra area's for both grinding, questing and roleplay!

Would like to let everyone know that this project is STILL very much active and that we are nearing the completion of the town Sunnydale.

 

There are still a few things we will be adding but most of the monsters and quests are now set in place as are most of the very known area's of the buffy universe!

what we got as current:

- Werewolves 

- Vampires

- Jobs

- H/motel renting system

- Roleplay award system

- Sidequests up to level 10-15!

- Storyline quests/main questlines (join the goodguys or the badguys)

- Crafting system

- Special mechant system

- Bus system to most of the sunnydale places.

- many dungeons with/without puzzles

- day/night spawn cycle for monsters

- Reputation system! 

- and so much more!

 

if you got any questions then feel free to ask them. This module is currently designed to be MULTIPLAYER and we will be working on a singleplayer version (different storyline)  somewhere in the next year, we cannot be precise about this due to real world having a tendency to hog all of our time for it.

Hello there evryone!

 

Just wanted to let you all know that this project is still very much running! 

 

As for now the process is a bit slow due to holidays BUT we are still working on getting the game ready for players to enjoy it!

 

Currently we are working on the stability of the town Sunnydale and the reputation factors. Working out most of the kinks while also trying to add some extra content and adding lore things to the our forum! 

 

So feel free to poke around, say hello and watch the screenshots we have posted on there! 

 

You got some good idea's then feel free to let us know on our forum!

 

for the roleplayers, we have a roleplaying section now setup on the forum so feel free to create a character and interact within the world of Buffy&Angel while we are working on the virtual world of it!

Hello hello!

Yes we are still active and working hard on getting sunnydale ready for people to play on!

Currently our attention has gone to finishing the sunnydale zoo with additional quests and of course the option to become a zookeeper!

We are also working on more collecting area's such as mines, woods and caves. So people can create more and better gear to protect themselves from harm.

Further more we are working on 9 custom and renamed classes.

All in all we are making good time with this project and we are getting close in finishing the town.

A few more area's will be added:

- Spikes crib

- the abandoned factory

- warehouses

- docks

After this I can safely say that everything about Sunnydale is build and functional

A Bank and Printshop added to the module! 
Now you can store your money and read the Sunny-news!

Become an editor of the Sunnynews and add your own stories to the newspaper!

 

Now also we got a master scribe at the printshop for naming your items!

hello hello! I want to tell everyone we are still active and running things! Yes things have slowed down a little due to Real Life getting in the way but we are continuing to fight the armies of darkness and by adding more quests and of course we will be expecting the game to actually launch in the end of may! 

 

At the launch of the server as current you will be able to play the following races freely!

 

- Human

- Slayer (Subrace)

- Vampire (subrace) 

- Werewolf (subrace when bitten)

- Gnome

 

In time more races will be added!

The plan is to have the server online in Beta mode at the end of next month (end of May) we are working tirelessly to get it ready to be played and of course still looking for a good way to host it since my internet does not have a static external IP but we will find a solution!

 

currently fixing some loose ends and for now we will only have the first chapter of the two rivalling factions:  Slayer Organization and  the vampire society but we will be adding more of those in due time!

Okay my router broke so again there is a delay in the release of buffy...While that does not have to mean to be a bad thing!

as sunnydale is as good as completed i started making some LA areas and untill the router is fixed or I get a new one I will be working on it till most if not all areas have been added to the module from the tv show.

Finally got my router fixed so we can almost start with the open beta!

I expect it to be by the end of next month. I am still working on fixing the final bugs that I know of and finalizing the reputation.

So far i have implemented several buffy episodes into the module and with them encounter areas with the well known monsters from buffy.

Loot can now be found in chests in caves and monster infested areas graded by level and respawn over time.
