Signed, or at least for another quarian. I love me some Auntie Raan, especially when she isn't being so "soothing".

I would 100% dig this because she's terrific, but I would hope she's one of two options. DAI spoiled us with four VO tracks, and I wouldn't want to go back. It's tough to adapt one voice to every different face you design.

The quarian mask changes her voice quite bit so idk how human PC would sound with her voice actor. Not bad as idea though.

If you want me to play as an bropathfinder, then yes, surely do it. I believe she is a quarian, protaganist nonsense isn't going to change that.

I think she sounds just a bit too old to be the protagonist.

I wouldn't mind the actress returning to voice another character, as she is a good actor, but she'd be wrong for the main character. She in her 60s and sounds like it. Unless the protagonist is going to be an older man or woman, late middle-aged or older VAs would not work.

It would be great if we have a choice like in DAI, though.
Frankly, the ability to actually play an older PC, and having the game support it, would be wonderful, and it's practically unheard of in Bioware's games prior to DAI.

Not really feeling it tbh, i'd rather not have VAs who voiced significant characters in the original trilogy do so again, especially those with such distinctive voices. I'd rather Bioware went with a fresh, new cast who we haven't heard in every modern Bioware game. I know this probably won't happen though, as Bioware love to work with the same people over and over, and i'm fully prepared to hear the likes of Meer, Hale, Blum, Wilton Regan, Claudia Black, new favourite Prinze Jr, as well as a few people from Firefly and/or Torchwood.
I'm fully behind having multiple voice options like we had in Inquisition though, I loved that.

While I wouldn't mind playing an older protagonist, it really depends on what that protagonist's background is. If we're playing as another military officer someone in their 50s or 60s would be far too old. Admirals or Generals could be that age, but they shouldn't be running around doing what Shepard was doing.

In all fairness, most people aren't doing what Shepard is doing at any age.
But yes, that's what I mean when I say I just want our background to permit it, which would maybe preclude a military background (which is fine with me - I'd like play a badass academic this time around, personally). You can make an elderly looking character in every game, but Shepard is always 29. Hawke is always 21. Cousland is always the baby of the family. Amell is always about to embark on her harrowing. Etc and so forth.
At least in DAI, the inquisitor's circumstances never lock them into a specific age range.

I love her voice, but I doubt the protagonist will be outside of a mid-twenties to early forties range, in terms of how they're presented within the in-game narrative, like the Inquisitor was, which means that she sounds too old for the protagonist. She has the right voice for a matriarchal character, but not so much an active duty ground soldier.
That said, I'd be fine with her taking a role similar to Admiral Anderson or something, as our protagonist's mentor figure or something. Though, given that Shala'Raan had a relatively prominent role in ME2 and ME3, I don't expect them to bring her back for Andromeda. I could be wrong, though - I mean Raphael Sbarge voiced Carth and Kaidan, and both roles were far more plot-important than Shala'Raan was, so I suppose it's possible.

I would staunchly oppose multiple voice options if we are meant to play as a singular character who will progress through multiple games.
If the protagonist is a one-off protagonist, though? I would be all for it.
-----------
Either way, I don't want prominent voice actors playing the protagonists and certainly not ones that are heard everywhere in a Bioware game.

I think she'd be more suited for a female equivalent of Anderson type role. Still, if this is a tight knit group from the MW galaxy hundreds of years in the future I wouldn't expect much differences in accents. So unless everyone in our little society sounds like her, her voice just doesn't work.

Hawke is always 21.
Hawke is 24 or 25 in act 1 of DA2. Malcolm and Leandra eloped 25 years earlier and Leandra was pregnant at the time.
