Rage quit b4 dishonorable teabag.
Been there. Done that.

I don't think I've ever teabagged on purpose, on *accident* many times....
The people that beotc* so loudly about how horrible everyone else is 9 times out of 10 do little or nothing to help the situation and benefit greatly from team mates taking aggro and getting killed.
really so take this example
Archer died 3 times in zone 1 and 2, FC Perilous, in zone 3 he comes with half hp left up to two fire wraiths and does a longshot animation, fire wraiths shoot fire balls at him, he dies. Now i go over kill the fire wraiths and in zone 4 tell him to stay back shoot from distance, he is level 15 archer i am level 1 reaver, there was a keeper who gave him barrier but archer seemed not wanting to stay near the keeper. Now if that isn't a L2P issue don't know what is, also i am not upset at the archer, i just wish he L2P for his own sake. I can solo it but why? Also why do you find telling people how to play such a issue. seems to me you have much to let out.
Beerfish that is a lot of anger for me to ask people to L2P??? boy who have you been playing with???

Same and I'll take my xp with me. I honestly don't get the love of doing this to other people nor would I ever dream of doing it to someone.

Seems people take this game WAAAYYY too seriously...
So can I exploit or no
i heard they found a new one on PS3, lol never stops
Er right,
fuhgeddaboudit,
Please refer to post one of this thread.
and???
should I have said they should all commit hara-kiri?
or perhaps BSN has a humanitarian mission to teaching all players L2P?
or perhaps they should all go to Beerfish for lessons?
what got up your shindig?
So lets add up the original post
all players i am referring to have best gears and Hakkon weapons
They dies in perilous multiple times
They must have opened enough chests or spent gold to Hakkon drops
They must have played NM enough to get the weapons
So do they know how to play? or they dies leroy Jenkins style on Perilous
and you suggest I should be a better team player and do what? I carried them, try to help where i can when they got into trouble. Does that change the end result? No, so they need to L2P
Same and I'll take my xp with me. I honestly don't get the love of doing this to other people nor would I ever dream of doing it to someone.
Somehow, I don't think you'd complain if I were the one teabagging you, am I right? *waggles eyebrows*
The community fails your standards quite a bit lately, doesn't it?

Relax gentlemen. Its been well known since the beginning that PUG's suck. If you are going to choose to play with random players you are going to get a random level of skill. Simply do what I do, play a match with them, then if you dont enjoy playing in that group, find another. In my experience I get just as many competent players, and as long as I plenty of gold I dont mind failing(unless its an event lol). If I find a good group I stay for a while.
Sometimes I play really well, ive got good gear and usually know what im doing. Yet other times I just have a bad game, sometimes im trying a build out that doesnt really work, or attempting a challenge that makes me play a certain way. Sometimes its simply getting stuck on terrain, an attack whiffing, or most commonly me not noticing a stalker/ walking into a room of archers.. So try to be tolerant. Some classes cant hang back because they need that guard/barrier generation to stay alive, sometimes that healer can't continually barrier you because they needed it themselves otherwise they would have died. Also sometimes all of us just suck.
If you need some good players make some friends. Myself, I certainly need to make more DAIMP friends to play with, but I really dont mind about skill level as long as I have fun. People have to learn somewhere and I never mind helping out. Now people ramboing and dying, opening the door before we open a chest, or opening a door by themselves and causing us to get mobbed are genuine issues I dislike, but if we dont kindly advise them not to do it they will keep on doing it in the next pug, and the next, so we need to help them out otherwise the problem is perpetuated. Educate them.
Lots of things in the game are not explained anywhere, people dont always know what to do. I laughed an awful lot after launch when I found people were holding down their thumbstick to run instead of toggling it, simply because they didnt know - there were quite a few moaning of achey thumbs! So remember that what might seem obvious to you, might not have occurred to someone else.
Relax and have fun. Make friends. PUGs will be PUGs.
Too long for me to read
(And too serious to the degree of off putting by starting with "relax gentlemen".)
All of those players getting shot up, taking aggro, being paper tigers? They are saving your ass.
As with ME3MP, the truly great players can play well, work with others even if the others strat is not always sound and help keep the group alive.
The people that think they are great complain about their team mates faltering mostly because they really are not all that great in a group dynamic.
Do you run off a head? Do you ignore downed team mates because it 'might' put you in jeopardy? What classes are you playing vs what they are playing.
All of these are valid questions because I've seen a ton of 'great' players that in reality were great at keeping themselves alive and killing things but totally sucked in a team dynamic.
The people that beotc* so loudly about how horrible everyone else is 9 times out of 10 do little or nothing to help the situation and benefit greatly from team mates taking aggro and getting killed.
I'll reiterate my 1st point, but add one more thing. Play solo so you do not have to be burdened by all the l2p crowd or only play with trusted friends. and enjoy staying at that tier of play that is 'I am good at doing what I want to do in a team game but I have no clue how to work in a team dynamic that is not ideal.'
Well said. I would like to see some of these so called great players try their hand at serious MMO raid progression. Their try hard ways will fail them if they dont work as a team. And nothing this game has is even close to having that kind of teamwork requirement.

I dont know what kind of games you have played. But the vast majority of them. It is the "healers" job to stay with the group. Not the other way around. The "healers" job in any game is stay close enough to the tank to heal him/her. And if you want to get healed cause you are the kind of DPS that likes to stand in crap and soak damage you shouldnt be taking. You better be within range of my heals. Cause I wont be moving out of range of my primary responsibility which is the tank.
Now I know DAI does not and most likely will never have a healer for MP. But the same priciple stands.

Well said. I was with a group I have played with before. And successfully completed NM runs with this group. But one day we just struggled for whatever reason. Maybe 3 completions in like 4 hrs. But I **** you not. We had more fun that night then when we would just crank out NM completions any other night.
Having fun while playing a video game is what is important. Not whether you complete a map and get gear.
Everybody likes to win and be successful when playing games. But if you look to video games for self validation and a sense of accomplishing something. You have a serious pyschological issue and need to stop playing video games and address the real issues in your life.

Lol, but in all seriousness perhaps I'm too polite for all of this, or it's some weird bro thing that I'll never understand. Doing it to randoms just comes off as douchey to me but that's the point I suppose. *Sigh* I guess I'm not kewl enough for all of these hi-jinks or *gasp* maybe I'm getting a lil bit more mature.
I wish I was as edgy as these new Ps3 -> PS4 boys.
I'm far too casual tho Dragon, but y'all can find me in routine, bag me if you can. ![]()
Anyway you guys/gals continue grinding on each other's faces, I won't stop your fun?

I think the OP was saying just that. Routine is where you belong.
In all seriousness, Teabagging has brought some of the best laughs I've had in DAMP.
I actually received my Hakkon Greatsword after having a certain someone teabag me to the fade in Zone 4. It was 3 a.m. and I was half asleep.
That certain someone still doesn't have his sword after 400+ dragon kills.
Justice has been served.
i thought only ostriches put their head in the sand!
I would ask what this was supposed to mean, but I suspect that I'd just end up receiving vague, insubstantial accusations of a bizarre nature that wouldn't be backed up or explained.

Drink lots of booze before-hand. It only hurts the first time.
