Mission: Heavy Hitter (August 21 – 24)

 

To All Inquisition Soldiers and Agents,

 

The messengers we receive from Val Royeaux look increasingly haggard when they arrive at Skyhold's gates. They say there is an increase of red templar "Behemoths," Venatori "Bruisers," and pride demons on the roads. Keeping track of the Game is difficult at the best of times, and the idea of demons devouring both message and messenger is not a pleasant one. The Commander and I ask your cooperation in eliminating as many of these "officers" as possible.

Agent Goal: Kill a combination of 30 Behemoths, Bruisers, or Pride Demons

 

Inquisition Goal:

PC/PS4/Xbox One: Kill a combination of 125,000 Behemoths, Bruisers, or Pride Demons

PS3/X360: Kill a combination of 75,000 Behemoths, Bruisers, or Pride Demons

 

Agent Completion: Agent awarded a Commendation Chest.

Inquisition Completion: All agents awarded a Victory Chest.

 

This weekend’s event begins at 10 am PST Friday, August 21, and ends at 5 am Monday, August 24.

I don't want another chest.  I want a funny hat.  Or the ability to take away Pala's sideburns and make her a beautiful swan.  Prefer the funny hat though.

I just finished a match against Darkspawn.

 

Before: 3/10

After: 6/10

 

So it's probably just a mistake in the description.

No I don't believe that could possibly happen with the robust systems bioware has in place

Brutes count so don't avoid the venatori

Yes, someone please find out how many times we need to solo routine for this so I can mentally prepare myself.

Okay, so, this really translates to "DragonRacer, kill about 28 Pride Demons" because everybody knows RNG just loooooooves to throw me my absolute favorite faction 9 times out of 10.

Actually, you know what? I'm getting really tired of the solo kill count anti-teamwork challenge grind. I know I complain about it every time. But for the first time, I'm thinking I might just stop playing instead.

Alas, I am certain that this will lead to killstealing assassins/archers and sad keepers. That was your objective, was it not?

Yeah. I know they said they're planning on some special chest at the end, but ugh... after the Varric debacle sapped my enthusiasm (failure I understand, but they also gave up) and now yet another kill challenge...

 

I only play for the challenges, and if they aren't fun I have no reason to do them, so I have no reason to care about what gear I get for the next one.

Because that freaking teleportdoorfalldamage bug killed me (Falldamage+Veilfire) and really don't want to do this event anymore.

Yes, it should be part of Book 2.
