Well, we all know for 100% EA will screw us over with cutting 10% out of the game, and selling it as 5 dlc's each 15€ (see Sims, Battlefront, FUT). Will you buy those DLC's?

Depends what they include. Quite worried about timed exclusivity deals or cutting of platforms with DLC's though, since that seems to be Bioware's DLC policy at the moment. XBONE folks will likely get DLC's month earlier than other players and hopefully Bioware doesn't decide to not include DLC's for some platforms this time.

After From Ashes on disk dlc made me stop buy dlc separately. I only buy if its in a bundle and on sale. Titanfall and BF4 are the games on Origins. If they did that with Mass Effect sure.

I thought the DLC policy of DA:I wasn't too bad. No day1 dlc, no companion DLC and apparently, the story DLCs so far weren't that bad and definitely not cut out from the game (haven't played them yet myself so this is second hand info). I know there was some issue with last gen consoles but that's not going to be a thing for ME:A. If they stick with an ok policy on the matter and as long as the quality will be good I don't have a problem wit it.

They should lock out the gay content and make a gay Makeb planet and make people pay for it despite numerous other romances in the game. It's more artistic that way than make everyone bi.

Depends to what extreme they take it. Because it's EA it will suck regardless of what they do, but what they did and continue to do with the ME games is appalling. Bundle them together and put it on sale! The games are on sale now and the DLC's are still costing full price.

I'll worry about dlc when its announced
Same here but I'd say given the fan of ME that I am it's likely I'll buy them after all I did with ME3 and have also bought most if not all of the DAI single player DLC as well. I'm yet to play the new Descent one but I do have it. Will play that during my next Inquisition run.

If it is anything like Lair of the Shadow Broker, Leviathan, or the Citadel...sure.
If it is like Pinnacle Station or the Jaws of Boredom, or whatever that DA:I DLC was called...no.

It really depends on the content for me. It's pretty much guaranteed that I'll buy any story-based DLCs. I'm a sucker for them, even if they aren't great. I'm less likely to buy things like item pack and appearance packs. Those will really only pique my interest if they have things that I actually want. Most of the time, I'll buy them since they tend to be cheap. But I've passed on a few that seemed like duds.

I think the only Mass Effect DLCs I genuinely didn't like were Pinnacle Station and the one where you get the Hammerhead.

99% sure. Last Mass Effect DLC, was all great : Omega, the scary Levietan, and the unforgetable Citadel.
If it was about Dragon age i would say probably : not sure! and yet i bought all DA DLC too

The only ME dlc I haven't played is the Pinnacle dlc. Its not available for the ps3.
I haven't played Descent since its for next generation. I saw it on youtube. I wasn't impressed. If the next DAI dlc isn't that great, I won't waste my money to purchase another copy of DAI when I get the ps4 in October

Its the status quo to cut games up for console exclusive and game stop exclusive nonsense. Wil just have to see the damage.

Be prepared for the Mako Deluxe DLC. Five brand new barren wastelands to explore. Slaughter endlessly respawning wildlife. Best of all you can apply red, green, or blue racing stripes down the side. Only 15$ US.

Story DLC sure. Lair of th shadowbroker is one of my favorite parts of ME2, and that wasn't cut. Characters, weapons, appearance mods I'll mostly skip on those. Unless they changed there system you buy bioware points and you frequently have left over points because you had to get them in groups of 500 or whatever and the story pack cost only 300 if those elftover points get me a character sure I guess.
I'll probably get the deluxe edition, that usually comes with a pack or 3 that you can buy seperatly. I'm a sucker for a sound track and the deluxe edition usually comes with that.

Well we know for sure that, without EA, bioware would have less resources and had to cut 10% of the game.
Will you buy the new DLC?

I won't buy any DLC until after I've finished the game. So, if the DLC is cut content, and it weakens the original game to lose it, that makes it less likely that I would buy DLC, since I will be making that decision based on the quality of the vanilla game.

I think the only Mass Effect DLCs I genuinely didn't like were Pinnacle Station and the one where you get the Hammerhead.
After looking at Pinnacle Station on YouTube, it seems pretty straightforward, but its biggest weakness seems to be the same thing that permeates throughout all of ME1, and that's its inferior combat gameplay. I feel that Pinnacle Station just came too early. If it was something we could get in ME3, it'd probably be grand, though it does kinda live on in parts of the Citadel DLC. The Firewalker DLC is fairly ass though. So much platforming.

Or kickstarted it. Publishers are not the be-all and end-all; times have changed (especially on PC).Well we know for sure that, without EA, bioware would have less resources and had to cut 10% of the game.
Will you buy the new DLC?
But yes, prepare to be gouged for dlc.
