Yeah, when it spams your corpse it's insult to injury. No official word but rogues seem to be higher in the tables based on empirical evidence.
It's like "I know that lvl 20 reaver is ripping everything apart over there, surrounded by enemies and ripe for a lightning blast, I'm going to go get him... Oh wait, is that lvl 1 Elvis impersonator trying to break one of my pots away from all the action? I won't stand for it, LIGHTNING BLASSSTTTTTTT!!!!!"

Because your death makes it stronger. It's just power leveling for when it has to fight the actual damage dealers.

If I remember correctly, the dragon chooses the position of the closest player when it spits projectiles from the air. Note that the impact position is based on where the targetted player was when it spits the projectile. So if you are stopped to open a chest or pot, or if you are immobile while attacking enemies you are more likely to take 1 to the face.
Well, that explains why I always feel targeted when I'm sitting in a moshpit of dudes trying to kill them and feel like fire is raining down on my head every 2.5 seconds. ![]()
Seriously, it's tempting to just fight the dragon on Zone 5 no matter the difficulty level because it's very tedious to fight all the other dudes when that dragon is just crushing on your character so hard that she's in full-on NOTICE ME, SENPAI mode. ![]()

I think I was the templar in those matches because I remember fighting with a reaver and an archer in the front lines and every time I looked around there was that level 1 ss getting obliterated by dragon breath. 25 match perilous avatar? Thanks for taking the heat off the rest of us! Cheers! Bwahaha ![]()

I felt bad dragging the others down like a noob who shouldn't be in perilous, but it seemed like everyone saw what was happening because I didn't get kicked.
As for the avatar I honestly don't even know what I'm using, my screen name is remittingfire and some numbers.

Ok yep, it was definitely you. Won't lie, I thought about trying to kick ya but only because I had kept running into squishy level 1s on earlier peri matches and was getting annoyed with them in general. Usually it's not a big deal. And hey, iirc you did better on the next match! Just next time, please be kind to your fellow pugs and do a quick threatening game or something first

even on higher level folks, that lightning damage stings.
I usually do, the only one I even think about bringing in to perilous at level 1 is the SS, and I only being her because Hakkons Mercy and Savage Thorn make me resilient enough and do enough damage to contribute. My major downfall is on Demons and apparently the OCD lightning Dragon, I just don't have enough resistance to eat more than 1 shot from them.
