Viv makes an awesome place to hang the ugliest clothes and hats. Then she gets to stand, all alone, in her attic. I imagine pigeons stopping by to roost on her at night. ![]()
Give us the option to punch all of our companions

I've got Vivienne in King's Willow Weave this time and that goofy Orlesian Mage Hat (bright yellow FTW!). The idea was to make her wear something loud and obnoxious. Don't get me wrong. I adore Vivienne, but a big part of her persona is based on spectacle, so I figure she should dress the part. The "loud" part worked according to plan, but it turns out that Superior Battlemage Mail in King's Willow Weave, Dragon Bone, and Drufalo looks surprisingly good on her.

Agreed. Inquistor lack of ability to acutally refute arguments and such is really infuriating. Especially the whole Bianca deal. I saw red on that one. But I would say the Inquistor didn't have alot of agency or input in alot of things that they should have. Also, I think they ouaght to bring back the ability to dismiss companions whenever and whoever. It was pretty lame that Sera was the only one with that option.
Oh God, Bianca. I was trying to push that tw@ out of my memory. I wanted to kick her in the teeth and throw her off the nearest cliff for threatening me. The least they could have done was allow my Inquisitor to threaten her right back; but, no, that's something someone with a spine would do.
Agreed, a dismissal option was very much necessary for everyone. If they knew a lot of people would hate Sera so much that they had the "courtesy" to add a dismiss option for her, why didn't they do that for everyone else? It'd be nice to be able to say, "Thanks for the extra "content." You can fvck off now." Also, why did everyone have to join our inner circle? Why couldn't we get the option to recruit the ones we don't like as agents instead? We'd get the war table missions, the agent bonuses, and that's it. No automatically giving the people we don't like the special privilege of working directly with the Inquisitor, no (or not as much) ass-kissing, and no getting chummy with people we don't care about.
Which the Inquisitor is, is, and is, respectively. So why are you whining?
1) I'm referring to strength of personality, not combat prowess. You're completely wrong.
2) I'm not whining; this complaint is perfectly legitimate and relevant to the thread. So, why haven't you asked why OP is "whining"? Oh, maybe I should have asked you why you were whining about Keep inaccessibility. "Why are you whining" is a pointless question when asked to someone who isn't even whining. Not to mention, that makes you whining about supposed whining, which is completely counterproductive on your part.
3) See below.
In a roleplaying game, the main character's personality should be up to the player.
This. We were able to choose our character's personality in the previous two games and had far more roleplaying freedom (as much as one can have in a story-heavy action RPG).

Sara has grown on me over the play throughs, although I still don't really bother talking to her in Skyhold - and I hate, loathe and detest Viv with a fiery passion, and was so annoyed that after deliberately tanking her personal quest, that she went straight back to her normal condescending 'dear' self... it made it so apparent that nothing you do with the 'choices' really matters - it all runs the same course.
So, to make myself feel better, I dressed her in the ugliest gear I could find, made from the ugliest materials - and took her with me to the swamp... it was a joy to hear the occasional remark, moaning about the state of her clothes ![]()

I like the way you think, bravo!
Yeah, the Inquisition companions are a very punchable lot, I have to say. I think that must have been why they removed the Murder Knife; the temptation to bring Ol' Sticky to bear is too great to endure sometimes.
