I recently came back from a 2-3 week break from DAMP, played a match to try out the new Darkspawn enemy. It was fun, but I thought it was weird that they changed the look of my Siege's End (2H berserker greataxe). I've had my Siege's End for a long time, so I thought this was odd.

 

I got back to the lobby/inventory screens to discover that I no longer had Siege's End equipped. It had been replaced with "Call of the Dark," which appears to have similar stats and had the same attachments I put in Siege's End, except that Call of the Dark is a maul so no AoE damage.

 

Did this happen to everyone? Did I miss the balance change/patch where Siege's End was replaced? Or did it just happen to me?

 

I tried to search the forum for anything about this, but found nothing. If the answer was obvious and i missed it, I'm sorry for forum pollution. I just hope this gets seen in the sparsely populated Weapons and Armor forum.

Yup this happened to me too

But as a maul, i think it has higher base damage and lower attack speed, which is great for skill based char
