They really need another buff now that Darkspawn is out.

 

In the past they are pretty vulnerable to Shadows, but even Shadows have to get into melee range and players have a window of a few seconds.

 

But with Bolters present I just had several games in all difficulties where the silly man drop down dead even quicker.

 

Any chance you guys can put Walking Fortress on him or give him higher life and armor? He still won't be able to tank or anything, but at least it will help compensate for his dumb AI. If you can give the Ventaori Zealots new skills on Heartbreaker you can give them new skills, too.

I say give him AoE immunity (Sure, run into the fire to attack that archer, nicccce.) and give him higher armor. Maybe let him spawn with guard so that assassin units don't kill him while the agents are still in spawn. (Or just give them Walking Fortress for the first 5-10 seconds)

They should give him full guard and then just make him camp at treasure doors yelling over here until the match is done. Much rejoicing will be had all around.

Half the time I don't even bother to try to save him.  He's just going to run into a group of 5 enemies and attack the biggest one while standing in the fire/lightning.

 

Actually, I may not even bother at all anymore.  Was doing the challenge earlier and he actually got the killing blow on a pride demon (right before he died) so I didn't get credit for it.  The jerk!

Half the time the dude is dead before you even reach him. I don't think we should get the dude at all on round 4 of FC because the pathing issues just leads him to take off into death. They need to do something about the escorts because I don't mind having to work to complete a task, but if the dude is dying before a team even gets a fair chance to keep him alive? It needs reworking.

We accidentally saved him from the Venatori on FC Nightmare yesterday. Everyone was kinda surprised when I pointed out what we'd done.

That AI needs serious work. Perhaps he should just hang out with the player with the least aggro.

 

There is this room on the right side before the treasure room I can sometimes convince my team to get in. Once we're in there we can kill all of the enemies with only the occasional death (works on threatening. Perilous players are harder to convince). Sometimes the Inquisition escort will hang out with us and we succeed or he's out there on his own and we fail. 

 

Wish we could see the success rates of different objectives. I know Bioware has them.

What we need is for the messenger to glitch into a wall (as DAIMP players have), where enemies cannot get at him, and remain there for the remainder of the zone.  Either that, or make him like Rambo, but without getting the killing blow on challenge weekends.

Working my way through the character challenges.  I'm Reaving at the moment.  Two challenges in one!  Get the character challenge and the Great Axe (my last weapon challenge).   Exciting!  I still play assassin, archer, keeper when I need a break from whatever character I'm working on at the moment.  Something very zen about playing archer.  Gets boring without changing it up.

I got back to my roots yesterday and got all of the characters up to level 20 and mass promoted.  There are some I will not play as much going forward, Katari has fallen out of favor for me and I don't really like Zither though I acknowledge he is really something with cool beats.

 

I had heard how good cool beats was for offense but didn't realize how good it is for defense.  I think I got hok resurrected more with him the last few days than when playing with a necro.

Just give them a shield like those darn gladiators, so that they become immune to attack from the front. They would still be vulnerable to assassins (reasonable), and being surrounded and overwhelmed, also reasonable.

It's ok its the inquisition theatre. Right now they're running an all Qunari production of 'Cats'.
