Hypothetical scenario: The development of this game suddenly has unlimited resources and influence. Even Hollywood A-listers are an option. You have a say in casting it, with the only stipulation being that you pick living actors. Who do you choose?

This is a tough one. I have heard great film actors do terrible voicework in the past. Some of these guys just don't get the hang of it. But if we are going strictly by voice alone, I would throw in some

A squaddie definitely. IF they are going to give us the stock races of the past games, they HAVE to play with the conventions they have built. Give us the Salarian who is more socially adept than others of his race, or the tactical Krogan sniper who has Blood Rage, but is a Zen like master of keeping it under control (Idris Elba for the Krogan Sniper all the way)

Without knowing who any of the characters are or what they're like I can't say who I'd like to play them, but for the protagonist I'd like Hayley Atwell and Richard Armitage to lend their voices and faces. Armitage would probably have to be made to look younger since our PC seems to be young(based on the leak) but I think they would both be fantastic.

Patrick Stewart is too tied to Star Trek for me, it would kinda be weird. But an understandable choice nonetheless.

Helen Mirren as the renegade Alliance general who is the main villain.

Kevin Spacey as the intelligence officer you report to.

Charles Dance as your supportive but eccentric father.

Idris Elba as the head of state of whoever it is we're working for.

Jo Wyatt as the reckless, charismatic pilot.

Whoever voiced the Hunger demon in DA2 as a VI or something.

Jon St. John as a hanar special forces operative.

I want an ultra disciplined Krogan sniper now, really a lot. Seriously, I'm taking that from you and putting it directly into my squad wish list.

I love your specific casting! Helen Mirren for main antagonist. That should happen. That should really happen. 

 

Okay, I want to do it too.

Patrick Stewart for ship's doctor. He's a master manipulator, making the most stubborn patient play right into his hands before they even know it. 

Natalie Dormer for the businesslike Comm specialist.

Aw, don't feel old, I'm just entirely clueless about consoles. I didn't really start playing many video games, or own my own console, until after 2012. 

 

I mean, I played computer games as a kid, but those titles are too embarrassing to talk about now.
