We are all familiar with the Qun, it's order and discipline, it's search for knowledge and weird obsession for cookies and cakes.

In the same way we all know the wardens; obscure guys that kill hordes of darkspawn (but apparently can't handle a bunch of jumpstarts like the stupid inquisition) that at some point deserted from their armies and kings to perform a ritual many would faint if they knew about it, which allowed them to kill the archdemon Dumat and end the blight.

Qunari come from Par Vollen, and their race from some place beyond the sea. And as we discovered in Origins, they come from a land where there has never been a blight. Sten was sent to Ferelden to learn about the blight, the wardens and probably the plausibility of an invasion in the south. Also to learn about cookies.

Sten kinda speaks of them with respect as warriors. (Sten being the only non-tal vashot soldier we've known personally) He even feels dissappointed at first because of the Warden's wandering (and her sex or magic too). So he kinda let us see that the Qun general idea of the Wardens is as great warriors and keepers of nature order, which it's the truth.

But Wardens live pretty much outside the law, they have their own castles, armies, lots of powerful relics, unsupervised mages, silver-tongued rogues, drunken dwarves, crazy elven keepers, possessed bodies, war heroes, kings, queens, cat-lovers and other potentially dangerous people. They can take anyone for recruit and overall have freedom over their tactics when it comes to killing darkspawn. There are even binding treaties to take whatever they require.

So, what's the overall idea of the Qun about the wardens? Do they like them? do they hate them? If they were to invade Thedas, would they try to eliminate them? Are there any treaties between Wardens and the Qun? If a qunari was to join, would he become Tal Vashot?

They are far from the Qun's ideal of order, but what's the real standing between them?

Overall what would anyone not from Thedas would really think about them? They have never seen a blight, and here are a lot of guys who's only mission in life is to make sure they'll never have to. What would they feel about them?

We know from origins that the Qunari command didn't know what a blight even was back then so its unlikely they have any treaties with the wardens.

This actually reminds me of a thread a few years back that Mary Kirby talked in where she said Qunari couldn't really have Warden's because they really don't do the political neutrality thing. So yes any Qunari that joins will be Tal'vashoth.
and it was revealed that the wardens didn't fight in any of the exalted marches so if the qunari invade again the wardens will likely not interfere due to the whole insistence of their maintaining political neutrality

My suspicion is that if the Qunari attacked Thedas they would ultimately try to make their own version of the Wardens.

The Wardens would likely be abolished under the Qun, and the Joining kept a secret until such time as an Archdemon rose. Then a number of soldiers would undergo the ritual and be expected to throw themselves at the Archdemon.
