ME3 sets to whatever framerate you have globally unkess you have a specific profile for it.

ME3's combat code and logic is supposed to be locked at 30 frames, period and there is no industry-standard delta timing to facilitate this paradigm at higher expressed framerates, so enemies at 120fps have a 400% boost to aiming and positional logic, and generally shoot you in the head at maximum range almost immediately, even in cover.

Being in cover at 30 fps is essentially like having magical armor that makes everything miss and not particularly hurt you thanks to having the same Damage Resistance as pre-buff tech armor and active aim negation, and cover really isn't even necessary as long as you maintain angle shielding and right hand advantage. At 120 fps the DR you would be receiving is completely negated because the routine for the enemy to "find" and "target" you is running at 400% speed.

This leads to stuff like being shot to death in midtransit as a Slayer, Phantoms that do automatic headshots from across Giant, and geth and collector bullets literally curving around corners into your butt thanks to a subroutine where the enemies not in direct view are supposed to "chase" you and are aim-assisted to do so.

Thanks.

I'll try to find what my global frames per second is set to. I couldn't find it in my nvidia panel or in the game optimization in the nvidia thing. It's got to be somewhere.

I want an enemy that cloaks, is very agile, can take a lot of hits, uses big daggers, and is seven feet tall. When I am engaging it, I want it to dissappear. I look around, turn around and it is right in my face, I will say, OH CRAP!! Roll back and continue fighting it. Sit still!!

Well, that is just an example. The best type of enemy is one that makes you worry. Enemies who you know you will beat is basically mop-up duty.

nah. banshees are the type whos main weapon is fear. I admit to fumbling around and dying stupidly a few times because of that sream, but I eventually understood that banshees really are a walk in the park.

I have to ask: what do you think the actor who voiced the banshees script looked like? Obviously the banshee sounds like the world ending, but how to describe that sound on paper?

An animal was probably used. After heavily editing the audio, Banshee scream. At least, that is my assumption.

On PC the frame-rate is capped at 60FPS ... unless you use some space magic.

Any halfway modern graphics card should be able to easily handle that in ME3.

Yah, prolly an eagle's screech.  That's about the only animal I know of to be that large to have that kind'a depth and volume.

I was thinking a peacock.
As a hunter on more than a few occasions, I've been sitting in a blind or tree stand as it was getting dark (in the middle of the woods).
And heard a group of peacocks scream, it's terrifying, when you aren't expecting it.
They sound like a woman screaming for her life!
(FYI I don't hunt peacocks lol)

It's been so long since I heard a peacock, it could very well be.   Of course, there are so many animals out there, that I just dunno.

It still reminds me of the scream from led Zepplin' s immigrant song.

Banshees (and generally shnc kills) were the worst gameplay design in ME3, I can't believe people are asking for their return.
The only good thing about Banshees is that they made me use the Juggernaut from time to time

Not the mechanics of the banshee, but the design.
