with no host migration message -- happened twice this a.m. Very strange. Could they have bailed after match but before score display -- would that trigger circumstances where no migration message is displayed?

The hosts probably wet themselves when they heard the darkspawn roar, bailing on the game while you were in the loading screen. Or Demons. Or Venatori. Or Red Templars. Or, whatever else didn't suit their fancy when it popped up. Or, they were solo starting, and went down before you came in, and exited after being assigned XP.
