Could be the most pointless feature you can think of, but all the same you'd like the game to have it simply for the hell of it.

 

For me, being able to use chairs and furniture outside of Cut scenes.

For me having the gun I picked for the mission actually being on the cutscene.

Also a specific animation when characters are using the SMGs....the way characters took the Locust in their hands never felt right for me.

I would say, renegade dialogue options like those in ME2 where you're this campy, badass dude.

This means... a hair salon.

 

Or even change the way you look, because sometimes what looks good in the character creation screen doesn't look good in the game. So.... how about a plastic surgeon! Kind of make it like the Black Emporium thing in DA2. I liked that.

I will put this here since it fits.  

 

I would really love them to work on better lip-syncing.   Since MEA will be using the same frostbite design as DAI, I think (hope) they can do a better job.    I just started DAI back up to run another playthrough with the expansions this time, and after a few months of playing Witcher 3, I have to say that the shock of how bad the lip-syncing is in comparison was rather jarring.  

 

Would it kill the game to have the poor lip-syncing and stiff emotionless faces?  No.   However, it would clearly be much better if they could.

A few wide open levels that actually work with a sniper rifle, since thats my style in most games, but ME2 and 3 often forced me to go for something that fires faster.
Maybe combined with that Stealth mechanic people already mentioned

I want a revolver. it can be explained by having a revolving thermal clip cylinder that allows it to fire far more powerful shots at the expense of burning through thermal clips in one shot. but mainly I want my futuristic space revolver. Destiny spoiled me.

The availability of thermal clips (or other ammo) being tied to realistic probability rather than being conveniently available in the most obtuse places. 

 

"Oh, here's some thermal clips perfectly suited for your human-manufactured rifle laying about this thousand year old alien temple"

 

Also, it would be nice if your character ventured into missions with an appropriate amount of firepower for the task.
